One sided pvp is not allowed. If two people want to knock lumps out of each other then go right ahead!

^^ Well that wasn't the case yesterday, Spongey and I weren't allowed to batter it out, we were both frozen. Hence my siring the pot. I understand the no one sided PvP, I hate being punched when I'm trying to do something important, doesn't worry me so much when I'm just wandering around, I'll hit them back. Then we have a little match, someone dies (no one is annoyed, it's purely for fun) and then we get frozen. Exactly what happened yesterday.

Anyways, glad that little saga is over, and we know exactly what we can do now. :D

So are we binning the kitchen server and going to a host? I don't think it's a good idea, personally, but I know some people running servers off hosts and I could get the host names for you, if you wish.

Only one thing too, I don't think we can keep our dqcraft.dyndns.org:22222 IP as it is, I think we'd have to shift to the host's IP (e.g: redcraft.net:38753) and just have an individual port. That's the way I've had to set it up for my two server (personal server and server for a website). I've got them on the same IP (patched with dyndns) and just two different ports. Though my dyndns patch got revoked or some such yesterday, I don't understand it...

One sided pvp is not allowed.

So battleships is considered pvp? with all the lightning and fire and Dunc finding where your standing and blast you?

So how was that loss on the side note?

Edit: While yes we will probably lose the Dqcraft ip but if it helps run it then I would say get it, Also you can manage, update, disable all mods that you get if through redstonehost. Dunc I sent you a PM.

Edit: 2 The Mob plugin is really limiting the mobs, I think it means 64 mobs in the whole world, Right now Im sitting somewhere where there should be a bunch of mobs and yet Not ONE!!! This really limits the exp that we can get.

^^ I was hunting around the other day and I was actually thinking that mobs were turned off...I'd forgotten about the plugin. I can now wander through caves without any torches or anything (I just turn the brightness and gamma up on my monitor, game menu and recording programs so I can see everything) and not have to worry about getting ninja'd by a skelli. This is good, it saves the worry of being pwned by a mob and scariness, but I need bones for bonemeal to grow bread, arrows for my shop, gunpowder for TNT, etc, and I haven't seen any of those for days (unless I go buy some/steal some from banned and not returning members...)

Also:
So battleships is considered pvp? ...

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Going directly to the extreme. All the admins and mods seem to do it, and it gets a little annoying (especially with my short fuse, as some will know ).

So, before I get off the computer, I shall share my plans. On the 1.0 world, I'm going to build fifty 15x15 towers to the sky limit, in a five by ten grid. There'll be links between each one at some yet to be determined height. Total dimensions: 87 x 267 x sky limit.

^^ I said this in chat but:

Ho...ly...🤬...

That is going to require like...20x the amount of collection of clay and wood that we did tonight...

Awesome. I want to build one for each at least sortof active person, so I thought 50 would cover it :p We'll need (for the towers alone, haven't worked out decorating/connections yet) 300,000 wall material. That's with no floors or ceilings, just the shell of the towers.

I can help. :)

I'm sure you can, but do the new rules not state that there is to be highly restricted spawning for the 1.0 world? So, for that reason, Tesla and I went out collecting today in the 1.8 world ('cause clay is more common) and I used my magic golden powers on the trees.

Also, i have to think up some great builds for te 1.0 world. Hmmm

Also also, are we going with my idea of removing the 1.7 world for a while and sticking with the 1.0 world for a few months, so that people can't teleport their spawned items into the new world? Once we're all bored of it after a while, we can bring the 1.7 world back in. Just wondering as I think this would be the easiest way to ensure there are little to no hacked items imported or spawned into the new world.

Edit: For the first part I know WallRunner did what you suggested it but I think either Nick or Dunc went on and spawned. It should be let up to the Player, If they don't want things to be spawned in for themselves or for their project then they should say so.

Thing is we are going to have that village in 1.0 which could house most of not all the things you need, so technically that would be considered spawned in. IMO If you want to pretty much go rampage and start from scratch go for it. Only thing I will be doing is the Nether in 1.0 for awhile then Adventuring so I would kinda like to have my diamond stuff with me.

Than you would have to find your diamond stuff naturally. Honestly I'd love to see us go 90 - 100% all out survival for a few months, little to no spawning at all. But your opinion holds a lot more weight than mine (since you're mod), and at the end of the day it's what Dunc, Vic, and the community as a whole decides. I just wish people would actually respond to it so we can get some opinions this time .

I have and I did 90% of all my diamond stuff naturally, While yes I did spawn in a few tools since I fell into a lagging void into spawn, but overall I have found all my stuff naturally.

Edit: It still should be up to the player if you want to not spawn in things let others know and we will NOT help you at all, So if you die from some void and loose all your stuff Dont come back to us saying can you spawn in some Pink wool or something like that.

Hey guys I made a server and I'd like you to test it out. I want to see how well my virtual machine that I made on my computer will be able to take people logging on and using lots of tnt. ;)

IP is 67.240.101.126. Let me know how you think. It's just a basic server for now and is only online for testing purposes.

Edit: Got a map up through the MineOS software!

This is an awesome way to host a server.

Nick, TJ, Jail newminer next time he comes online. He has broken a few things recently.

Newminer destroyed it even more.

I'm coming on so you guys can jail me. I believe in honest punishment.

EDIT: In jail ATM. How long is my sentence?

Wow, good man. I wish we had this sort of behavior when Creep_Fitro and Joshuafatty were on, would have made things a whole lot simpler.

I could admit to a few things I've done in the past, but I get most of my punishment through Dunc striking me with lightning and using me as a crash test dummy for the new mods

I was digging around here and well I found a few strongholds. (Which are lit up by a tower of glowstone next to a hole)
