No probs. They will be very large though. Around 600-700MB although could be smaller once zipped. I think Rapture is 1GB!

I thought I had! Sorry I'll do it now.

I think we'll just go back to the rank of Player for everyone in the new world. To begin with anyway.

We could call it something better though such as Citizen or ImmatureBrat.
 
Well, the one me and Jai is building wont be small, we hope. We're looking for more people to come over and building houses. I'm flattening land right now.
 
I've got to say this is very unfortunate... I'd hate to not go more than a week without Rapture. I guess having come from basically week one, being my favorite world and all, I'm a bit biased. Hmm... I guess it would be fun though. As long as well still had at least 1 normal group, one VIP group (which would be handed out at Dunc's discretion, no begging) and one moderator/admin group. That's nice and even:

Normal Player
Group for good player to be rewarded with
Admin group for banning/jailing griefers, no questions asked

Well whatever happens, I'm happy to play. Just wish we could still keep Rapture permanently.

On the side of flying and creepers, I think creepers should just do the get fat and not blow up thing, like they used to. Flying may be incorporated into the VIP, or be admin only or such. Just a thought.
 
Yeah I'd like to keep Rapture too, although it has become a bit of a mess.

I want to throw up every time I see Aquilam!
 
I've seen Adam's settlements. They are mostly collections of random buildings. They dont look too good though, if he built one in me and Jai's village, I would blow it up.

EDIT: I got another friend on, his name is Haavard89. He would enjoy being able to actually do things, so player him please?
 
Do we really have to get rid of all the other worlds just to start a new one? Some of us have worked hard on our houses, and for all that work, they'd just be deleted?
 
^ NO no mate, we'd keep copies. I for one will download a copy as well. We can have a look round them in Single Player, and perhaps later on down the road once everyone's bored with the new world, load em back up again and have a squiz round them. :)

Exactly, they'll still be on the server, they just wont be "loaded". At any time I can load one up and we can jump on to it. The server should also run much more smoothly with only a single world running.

Maybe in time. The ranks are being removed when we overhaul the server anyway.
 
We should really think this through... How long would it be before all the worlds are open again? If we actually do this, I'm really going to miss my home and farm in Strawberry...
 
It will be indefinite. I can temprarily reload the old worlds when we want to visit one.
 
We should have a vote for which world to be removed. We could contact WallRunner and make him set up a poll in the thread.
 
If you do start afresh I'd be keen to play.

I'm new to Minecraft and have only been playing survival single player for a couple of weeks but it's a great way to lose a couple of hours once the family has gone to bed!

I've never tried multiplayer but would love to give it a go. I might need some help mind!

I will be back on Minecraft pretty soon, about 3-4 weeks (hopefully).

I was thinking about having each world - both the new one and the old one - each loaded on the server every other month. For example, for June we will have the new world, in July the old world, etc.

That will allow us to build on a new world while still allowing us to relive the nostalgia of the old world.

I like the idea of a new world, as we can start from a clean slate, but I love the old world, especially for how "alive" it was.
 
The problem is that there are 3 old worlds Stormtrooper!


Someone PLEASE tell me how everyone ended up in Pandora.
