Queer
adj. queer·er, queer·est
1. Deviating from the expected or normal; strange: a queer situation.
2. Odd or unconventional.

Good call.

And what does that disprove about him not using the word queer? If he wanted it to mean that definition, he had plenty of other words to choose from that weren't offensive at all...

Personally I think Evos upto the VI looked like carictatures (sp) and were begining to look a little silly. They now seem very outdated.

IMO, the VII was too tame looking while the VIII is just about perfect. Its good to see the EVO X is going in a different direction. Its not going to look as outragous as the drawing, just taking the design cues from it.

"8" looks too much like "B", so they skipped it. They same reason Chrysler skipped "I" in their 300 series, because it looked too much like the car would be a "3001" instead of a "300I".

That or it is rumored the AMV8 Vantage will be called the DB8.

Yes but that doesn't change the fact that it's not used by other companies because it can look like a 1.

BTW... i just saw the July issue of Motor Trend has that same rendition of the Evo but's it's cited as the Evo IX not X.

I believe "i" is a trademark of BMW.
Could be wrong..

I'd bet it's not actually trademarked by BMW, since it merely denotes a car with fuel injection. Not all BMWs have had it, obviously. Besides, what about Apple's "i"s ;)

rofl.

I love answering that I'm gay from time to time when people ask me how I am.

Could have sworn the DB8 existed...

the trademark is most likely on the entire model name... ie 330i not just the i part. Although lots of car companies have come out with similar model names... GTR, GTO, etc
