I love Diamond Dynasty. People are poor sports, though. I'm 4-0 and have only completed one game.
 
I really like the game so far. I played the '10 demo and hated it. So I'm pretty surprised.

Still wish we got Pro Yakyu Spirits here in the states though. That gives The Show a run for its money.
 
You can hit them. Not easily though. Threw a 2 hitter using Knuckleballs against someone who played as the Yankees. :lol:

I have a question about diamond dynasty:

- Every season is completed by playing 5 games......are they v.s. human or v.s. cpu? My record was 4-3 when i finally got awarded the trophy for completing one season. I went 2-3 against humans and 2-0 against cpu......

can somebody explain?????......need help!
 
I haven't tried Diamont Dynasty yet. I spend almost all of my time in RTTS.
 
Ordering it tomorrow hopefully. It's really annoying that many US games don't get PAL releases such as MLB and NASCAR.

Madden 12 got a release over here so that was reasonably priced but I'm looking at £45 to buy The Show off Amazon, bit steep.
 
Just tried Diamond Dynasty and it's the most confusing thing ever. It's also impossible to win against the computer. I tried the Yankees and got destroyed, then the A's and got beat 2-1.

The only way to score in this game is to wait until you guess a pitch right, then try to get a home run off of it. I've played maybe 30 games and have yet to score an RBI, unless it's a home run with a guy on first. It's just impossible to get runners on base beyond 1st.
 
After not managing to get this on import months ago due to some delivery quirk across the pond, I got round to buying it again when the price dropped. All I can say is RTTS is 100% awesome and I've never been so addicted to a game in my life.

There's a pretty good league I play in on another forum. It's dead now since Madden is out, but I'm sure it'll be up and running for MLB 13: The Show. If you want, I'll play some matches with you with about the same settings as we play with in our league.
 
I was batting .475 with 42 HR's as second basemen for AA Tennessee (Cubs) and they traded me to the A's.:banghead: What were you guys thinking Epstoyer?:lol: So disappointing. Finally got promoted to AAA but after the season was complete. I haven't checked out any game modes besides RTTS but really enjoying that. I forgot how addicting RTTS can be as I haven't really played MLB The Show '07. Definitely recommend it on both PS3 and Vita.
 
I had a similar issue to mcfizzle (roughly the same batting average, but you've got way more HR's than me, lol); LF for AA Huntsville (Brewers) then got traded to the Mets....I can only presume that they figured to offload me now while I was on a hot streak :lol:

Anyway, I'm now in my second RTTS season doing AAA with the Bisons and still tearing it up, even after adjusting my sliders a bit to make it a little tougher. I will say this though; my baserunning skills suck. I tap the stick to start but the camera swaps angles and he heads back in the opposite direction and I get stranded :ouch:
