Sharky - I'm actually liking some of the maps, what don't you like about them? Is it the way most buildings seem to have about 3/4 entrances and are harder to lock down than in MW2?

Though I've only played on about 5/6 of the maps. Seatown I liked.

Going with LMG + SMA at the moment.

Parkour - Can't say I agree with the fact you get mullered when you first go on. My biggest problems are not knowing the maps and being force to play in Standard TDM until level 19 (up to 7 now). Don't feel the guns themselves are getting me killed, just not knowing line of sights across maps, etc.

Couple of missions in to the campaign so far. Very good, as someone said, continuation of MW2. Spec Ops and Survival are both very good, particularly the latter (though I never played BLOPs).

I've seen some reviews saying it's 8.5/10, that's about right. Some annoyances, but it is definitely better than MW3.

I had one of those remote controlled spotter things earlier at Dome....yeah, I need to work out how to use them! :D

Don't even know why they even bother with an 18+ rating.

Happens when peeps have "guests" signed in to ther console.

So if my 360 gamertag would be my GTP username and I'd have you at my house, playing the game in split screen, I'd be Mr. S and you'd be Mr.S (1) since your gamertag isn't saved on my console.
 
Apparently, by signing up for the free Elite service you get 2 hours of double XP.

I'm also really loving the Weekly Challenges. I almost got 2 Attack Helicopters in one game at Village a minute ago 👍.

Best game yet! I got 25-3, with 2 Attack Helicopters and a Reaper. On a map I hadn't played yet. I'm pretty sure it was a 23-1 streak as well. I also had no idea how to use the Reaper, 0 kills :lol:. Still pumped :).

Next game? I go 23-6 with 2 Attack Helicopters and a Reaper :D. I never had two games in row like that in MW2 ever, I'm ecstatic right now :).

I'm really enjoying MW3 multiplayer so far. The more I play it the more I feel like balancing is much better than MW2.

Things I like:
Weapon leveling: adds a new dimension.
Removal of commando, noob tubing reduced, can't resupply claymores(even though I used and abused this in MW2)
Sniping is improved

What I don't like:
Sound: hard to hear footsteps and enemies moving around you and even at times gunfire, this was much better in MW2
I enjoy the maps overall but they are very cluttered with objects and no matter where you are there are about 4 spots a person can jump out at you.
At times hit detection has been an issue
Connection issues at times
Fix elite now, they can be that surprised by the number of people using it, I think it just wasn't ready for release. They knew there were 9 million preorders, and besides, people are spending a lot more time in the game. I could see if elite was connected to your barracks so people playing online were hammering it, but they aren't.

Did you sign up for Elite CAM? We should set up a GTP group when they get the kinks worked out of the system. We'll bring in TA and Azure and whoever else has moved over from MW2 to MW3.
 
I signed up for free Elite, but it won't let me do anything. It said I didn't verify my email (and wouldn't send me an email to verify) and now won't let me log in.
 
Yea, that's sort of what I'm getting. I didn't get the email, but I was logged in fine yesterday and could check out all my BlOps stats. Today it's just not even loading. Hopefully they can get it stable soon.
 
Hopefully it'll let my account work. I have no idea how to verify this thing if it won't send me an email. Noob tubing is a pain, I'm trying to finish the challenges for the SCAR and they just don't kill people.

All I found in the patch was a thing telling you you got double XP for signing up for free Elite. Ironic, because it doesn't work. Is your user title a Sandstorm reference? :lol:.

Ran up to an enemy and knifed him but it did not register, so I knife again and still nothing. His teamate kills me. This has happened too many times to me, it's rather bothersome.

Sometimes get the feeling I'm much earlier but still lose a battle like that, must be the lag. Not like the situation you had. It does take me a while to knife a sentry gun.

The funny thing is that I was behind him and nothing registered. I just frowned and shook my head. The replay shows me swinging my knife twice, both time going right through him as he's moving. The lag is bothersome, comedy, but bothersome, hahaha!
 
Should have been the game winning kill, would have had some laughs :lol:
 
I got a PP90M1 triple spray in Kill Confirmed! :D

And I got that little mini-tank thing with a gun and rockets that you drive around in in like the 2nd mission in the campaign from a care package and got 6 uber-fast kills! That thing is amazing! :D

At least not for sixty dollars since the single player means nothing to me. And not sure if I would go with PC or PS3, different people on each.
 
Az, it's more MW2 than BLOPS ever was.
Different developers, right?
Also, it's designed for console, not PC, so don't disappoint yourself by getting the wrong version.

Trust me, this is nothing like Blops. I was severely disappointed after Blops last year too, but I learned a lesson. No more treyarch games again.

MW3 isn't perfect, a lot of issues are present, but it's a quality sequel to MW2. Infinity Ward games just have a way of feeling right to me.
 
A little advice: use the support killstreak package, you dont need killstreaks. You just need kills
 
The campaign was pretty cool. Some shockers here and there. I completed it but now I'm only 53% done? Intel can't really make up 50%...

I think I was at 80% or so. Yet, I've played on Veteran, as usual.
