We haven't had a GTPlanet party like we used to with MW2 in a while, how about it sometime? Eh?

The lack of a SCAR-H has bitterly disappointed me, being my favorite weapon from MW2, and the L's damage is a total joke. I know, it wasn't an assault rifle to begin with, but it was nice to have, nevertheless. My games were going pretty badly, and I was struggling to even get a positive k/d at times.

But then I unlocked the PP90M1, and everything has changed since. I'm back to the supremacy I once had! K/d goes up every single game, and i'm on a good track. :D

You think so? I feel that because guns are so over powered, you don't even get a proper chance to hip fire or spray and pray.
 
I really hate Quickscoping in Public matches, it's a cheap way of taking advantage of the Sniper Rifle's power and using it close range. For example, someone managed to shoot me twice (with an ACR) and he would've easily killed me with his 3rd shot had I not used a Sniper Rifle (used the First Recon class and picked up the L111111111118A). I felt so bad that I killed him like that :(

Haters gonna hate:yuck:. I admit I am not great at the game but I am absolutly having a great time with it:dopey: you just have to find a good amount of freinds to play with Ihave put about 30 hours in and its been a fun expereince. I will be playing this and GT5 for a long long time. I tried to play battlefield but to be honest I didint have as much fun.
By the way what are your favorite guns so far on the game ???

How on earth did you do that!?
I have yet to try sniping. I'm so addicted to my Type95. I'll have to try it out sometime though: I was ace back in the days of MW1. :)
 
I walked up, aimed, and spammed the 🤬 out of the Barrett. You know how in small maps like Nuketown or Dome you get these people chucking random grenades, tomahawks and knives? This brings it up to the next level :D I'll upload a 3rd person view of what happened.

I hate Flood the Market!! I start uploading the encryption codes and it keeps on getting interrupted! Anyone know how they get interrupted?

Has anyone actually completed Flood the Market on Veteran? I need some co-op help. And I need to complete Firewall, but that'll be easy to do.
 
When you get to the roof, bear in mind you can go back downstairs for ammo whenever you need it.
Hide somewhere near the Barretts, and spam the guys on the roof till the chopper deploys bad guys behind you.
Noobtube them, and then turn back to the Barrett spot, and spam the guys on the roof till the littlebird turns up.
Down that with a tube or lots of bullets, and then START THE DOWNLOAD, then hide and spam the guys on the roof.
The gas is quite often what finishes me off, as it creeps up on you.
You have to move back downstairs and get more ammo anyway, as it's more points if you drag it out longer.
You can't stop the download from pausing, it's a ploy to get you into the open. Just don't worry about it till you have the guys on the roof down to a respectable level, then you can run across, restart the download, and then run back to cover......

Seeing as we're doing this.



Some good killing with VEXD last night. Went 24-6 in final game, though interestingly Elite hasn't recorded my last kill (which was final kill), anyone else noticed similar problems?

Nice to come up against good players who don't camp, though not so much in the final game.

Edit: Also, that is broken, I've played 20hrs game time.

I think I am going to trade this in for BF3 on Saturday.

I have tried it, and it seems like there is less childish behaviour.

The main reason for me though, is I am not good enough to run and gun, as I don't have the reactions or uber-leet-ness, or whatever, so I like to camp and snipe people.

I cannot do that in MW3, there are no maps big enough for me to get one or two kills without someone who is running and gunning to trip over me within a few seconds.

I went down 23 times the other day, due to spawns and my secondary having no effect against Italians and their connection.

Disappointing, but not massively surprising. It is more fast paced than any other MW game. I've only ever sniped at Resistance, compare it with MW2 maps like Wasteland, Invasion, Derail, etc, which were really good for sniping and a bit less chaotic the fine.

I quite like how the maps have gone in MW3, I don't think MW3 should try and be a long range big map battle like BF3 and should stick to being a more arcadey, reflex shooter. Though I think they missed a trick with Village, that could have been the less dull version of Wasteland if they'd been a bit more creative instead of those caves.

I'll miss killing with ya, I want to try BF3 at some point (even if I hate the player sway), but not sure I'll buy it as my unhealthy obsession with snooker has returned and my games budget has gone over to that!

As with any FPS, when it's good, MW3 is very good, but when it's bad it's frustrating as hell, that's the human element for you. Patch 1.06 is supposed to contain a few decent changes, so hopefully that'll improve.

I've had to change my playing style and weapon choice for MW3. There are no maps where you can sit back and take enemies out from a relative distance - not without leaving yourself totally open. MW3 does force you to play it run and gun, even in HC. 👎

I've traditionally opted for 3-burst assult rifles, which work best medium to long range but still give you a hope at closer range. Since very few of the maps favor that kind of play, i've had to change to a ACR. Since then my game has improved.

I went through a bad patch a week or so ago where i just gave up playing the game through frustration of just getting constantly owned. After playing some other games i went back and played through some more single player and spec ops missions before biting the bullet and building a fresh weapons class for multiplayer. It's worth a try. Perhaps a M16A or Type 95 with an ACOG or Dual Scope would suit you?
 
I think changing class is always good if you're in a bit of a rusty patch. I've ditched my L86 after finding out through Elite my K/D with it is actually not as good as other LMG's, like the Pecheng and MK46.

I think there are some maps where you can sit back a little more, but not many like Wasteland, Invasiom, etc.
 
One of my friends messaged me saying 'ACR Fan aye?' So I had a look on the Elite App and I've got 4.4k kills with it compared to the next gun (SCAR-Light) which has about 1.4k kills. And I've gotten over 10,000 kills with a Suppressor. I think it's my favourite attachment :lol:
EDIT: Scratch that, it's only 6500.

I have played BF3.

I enjoyed it.

I want to play it some more.

I don't see me having the money for both right now.

I don't see me coming back to CoD after I've gone to the dark side.

The team just isn't there anymore, no gelling, no banter, no helping each other out, and no pwnage.....

It's just fast death, fast death, fast, unfair death.

I tire of it......

There was a guy online last night, called Jukknuzz or something, he was owning every map, regardless of side he was on...... I put two, solid, headshots in him, and a chest shot at Arkaden.
It got his attention, so he looked towards me, and killed me with a single bullet from his UMP or similar.

This sort of thing makes me shout out loud, and the neighbours turn their telly's up........

Cod is always going to be what i buy. I never see myself buying battlefield espicially since i own every cod ever made and understand the storylines verry well. Cod will get better in the future because they keep improving, i think the problem is for people is its never enough for them, they always want more. I think they should stop wanting and start liking what they have, because some people dont have things like a ps3 or COD.
 
I think the way cod is, we need servers, I'd pay a fiver for an online pass if there were servers, I'm sure alot of others would too, I think it's like that with bf3, equal connection equal chance, and you wouldn't rage so much. I'm enjoying mw3, but it's the 2 and 3 bar connection spoilling it being really fun. I've now resorted to using the type 95, good gun but so annoying to be killed by it. Oh and don't get me started on snipers with quick draw.

Campers aren't as bad with this game, so that's a pluss too!

That's one of the many reasons I love Black Ops. Sniping was an actual skill. None of this Quickdraw + Aim Assist + 10 Sensitivity = uLt1m4te Gr1zz Snipperzz!1!

Thats a nice close minded view of it... That's also the reason why they don't actually have to make CoD any better (and haven't). CoD games have been a lot of fun over the years but at this point it doesn't justify a $60 purchase (plus another $60 in maps) every year for a lot of people (I skipped MW2 and Black Ops). Not being satisfied with what we have has nothing to do with it. We were satisfied... 4 years ago. It's about time for a little innovation. There's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting a little progress.

I think you should stop telling people what they should like when you don't even play both games and your given reason is just that you don't want to deal with a new story and you already have a bunch of CoD games... Having fun playing MW3 doesn't have anything to do with anything else I have/will purchase.

It's strange how I never have the kind of unfair experiences that you have.
To be quite honest I usually flank in Sabotage to rack up kills so when you are mainly attacking the enemy from behind there isn't much of a problem. It's quite funny I have seen players literally spawn before my very eyes. :O
There are flaws in the game, but the traditional "I shot you first!" complaint is just something you'll have to put up with.

And remember the first rule of war = War isn't fair. :lol:

I am just gonna let you know there are tons of hackers over on the dark side as well. Battlefield isnt quite as bad .... yet but its getting worse. I am gonna say it I hate hackers period I specifically hate hackers that steal stuff or screw up my gameplay

Spawning is particularly bad in this game. The amount of times i've spawned and being shot/stabbed within 2 seconds is insanely annoying.

Wow thats ridiculous. I played with a friend last night but since don't care about my KDR it was pretty fun. Also I like how the only response is some kid (probably, look at spelling) who just says to add him.
 
I hate to admit it, but I am one of those players that look for spawning points on HC Domination. The other teams do just appear right out of the blue if you are at the right place and time (normally when your team is near 2 flag points).

Best suggestion is to wait it out if you are getting spawn raped and hope that someone in your team gets away from it. This happened alot in BO's and is nothing new to MW3. If someone cant hold a free area long enough for others to spawn at, the entire game is going to be painful...ive been there many times when just joining a game in progress. Also been capped in the back as well from random spawns. If that doesnt work, avoid Domination completely since TDM is harder to get spawn trapped.

I used to break the remotes in the past, but (PG Rated 21) a full glass or two of wine helps me keep the rage at check. Dont even notice the buzz if the game is intense.

G.T...I feel you. Had some stupid kid RPG the entire team on S&D. After the 3rd time, I gave up and dashboarded out. Rarely go into HC S&D now.

I remember popping WaW in a while ago, going to play SnD.
Damn hackers made it so they spawned right behind us every single time. Entire team dead in... 2.8 seconds was their best.
