If I thought the PP90M1 was good, then I was really in for a surprise when I unlocked the ACR. It's unmatched in overall performance, in my opinion. I never got the Type 95 to work for me. The ACR will carry me forward from now on.

Anyone online now? Maybe we can get a GTParty going?

No gatrs, camping is fine in mode like Domination. I'd almost consider it a necessity. You can't very well run around and patrol the entire map all the time or wait for the announcement that you're losing a flag. When you end up sprawled out all over the map, that's when the other team can capitalize. Of course, you don't want to be in a huge group either because if you all get mowed down then you may end up far away from where you need to be.

Gogatrs...yup. HC Domination with no Killcam is great! Best thing about HC = No Killcam and copy cats. Bunch of sneaky tricks that takes time for others to figure out and start using...but it makes you invent new ways to keep a spot. Had some great kills streaks back to back to back in 1 life span snipping on Domination (3 preditors, 3 attack choppers and 2 AC130's. Would of had a 3rd till a jerk team mate killed me.

Being part a part of the team in controlling a flag is important, but this means that the other team mates has the job to secure or maintain the other flags. Same with you.

Just be aware of whats going on...if you are holding say A and the team is holding B or C, you will get a flood of action sooner or later if the other team cannot get to B or C after so many attemps. Least I try not to cap a station after so many attemps since they expect you to keep trying.

As lcarus25 said, going for all flags can go backwards in a hurry. Lost so many games by a few points because we(random players) could not get control again. This also makes random spawns points a PITA too.

Had an amusing game winning kill cam last night. Remote sentry in a building at Carbon, some guy walks through an entrance, I pelt him with bullets, hit him a couple of times, but it's the exploding barrel behind him that kills him. Also loved how a second after he died my bouncing betty that was there bounced up!

Some good games last night, got put in with a clan of 4 UKers who were doing quite well.

The MP912 pistol (or something like that, it's a revolver) is quite fun. Been using it for a few rounds with my SCAR class.

 SCAR-L....50 headshot short of 500 complete challange, but 410 shy from 1000 veteran marker :grumpy:...may not even do the 1K veteran challange.

Next I might move onto the G36C and skip the Type95 (lvl 29). G36C feels right after picking one off the dead player. Or just might complete the Barrett .50 challanges.

MW3 was a disappointment, the lag just and ridiculous spawns makes it unplayable. Back to Black Ops :) Hopefully Treyarch can dig deeper with Black Ops II.

Friday, December 16th, we're updating the playlists on Modern Warfare 3 to introduce some new game modes as well as change up some existing ones.

The biggest change you'lll notice is the addition of Community Playlists. This is where we will add popular or unique private match modes to the public playlists, so you can start ranking up on them! The first playlist changes for Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer are listed below:

DROP ZONE

Get to the drop zone to earn points, the first team to 7500 points wins the round, but thats not all. As long as the Drop Zone is occupied, a care package will drop every 15 seconds, which ever team has the most members in the drop zone at that point "owns" the care package, but anyone can steal it. This is the only way to earn air support in this mode, all other pointstreaks are disabled. You'll earn 20 points per team member, for every second they're in the drop zone plus 20 XP individually for your time spent in the zone. Kills are worth 50 XP in this mode.

Custom Settings: Pointstreaks (besides those obtained through in-game care packages) are disabled.

Hardcore HQ Ricochet

We'll be adding Hardcore Headquarters to the Hardcore Team Tactical playlist.

Hardcore Ricochet

We'll be converting all Hardcore modes to Ricochet variant as a response to team killing. This means, any friendly fire, is applied to the attacker, rather than the victim. So choose your shots wisely and any attempt to team kill will simply kill yourself.

Screw Black Ops II, I want World at War II!

The only reason I played WaW was for Nazi Zombies. The first free map was awesome (the original one).
Online I found it extremely unfair and frustrating. Not balanced IMO.

Black Ops is the first CoD game I've played, so I don't know too much about previous CoD's. I have 23 days played and it's great fun every time I play:tup:, except for ghost and second chance obviously ;)

You need to get CoD4. Seriously.
The multiplayer is a little unbalanced (MP5 and P90 are crazy. Sniping is very common) but the maps are unmatched to any cod game.
Single player was fantastic too.

I agree it wasn't balanced but that's only because of the infamous MP40. I miss the simplicity of it. I had over a month played on my old account and was 10th prestige level 65.

Don't get me wrong though, I love Black Ops to. I didn't like it when it was popular but I usually hate Call of Duties when they are because everyone is cheap and camp. Now that I went back my Win/Lose ration went up .20 and my Kill/Death went up from 2:45 to 3:11.

Woah, that K:D is worryingly good.
In MW3 I'm 1.91. It's frustratingly hard trying to raise the bar just that little bit further...
I only play sabotage and some games I'll get twice as many deaths as kills while some games I get amazing killstreaks. I'm very inconsistent, and that goes with pretty much anything I do, too.

I still don't get why everyone hated Black Ops. Apart from a bit of lag, I thought it was way better than MW2. No Quick Scoping, instead of killstreaks they were gun streaks (i.e. You couldn't use the kills from a Chopper to get a Huey) and the currency system was well thought out. Obviously, 2nd Chance, Ghost and the AK Rapid Fire + Grip were over powered, but not to an extent that it ruined the game...

COD4 and Black Ops are the only games where you can snipe in the actual sense of the word. I really want some COD 4 maps in MW3.

I got it a few months before MW3 was released. Didn't like it very much. Zombies sucked compared to WaW. The one in the pentagon was too complicated with all of the teleporters.

The single player was too complicated. I just laughed whenever a cut scene came up. And what was red numbers doing floating around everywhere? Seriously. No wonder kids are all messed up.

And multiplayer was interesting, but flawed. When I began I lost all of my money on a hardcore wager match. I didn't even know what I was doing. I ended up having to keep using crappy guns until like level 40 when I finally found a kick ass class.

I think Black Ops is much better than MW3. I'm excited for Black Ops 2 because I feel Treyarch is much more innovative than IW. MW3 is pretty much the same as MW2.

If you think Black Ops is some how... good, I don't think there is much hope anyhow.

Probably the best FPS I've ever played (apart from CoD:4) was Time splitters: Future Perfect. It put BlackOps to Shame IMO.

Go play Half Life and Counter Strike. And all those Source games.

But Black Ops doesn't need anything to shame it - it is shameful on its own, alone in a corner.

I did play some of the 'Orange Box'. Yeah Half Life is pretty awesome with what I can remember of it.
Black Ops just seems 'dead' to me. It feels too 'old', I'm not sure how to explain. It's like Treyarch's engine has a 'grainy' feel to it. It was the sane back in WaW.

Is it still that bad when compared to other CODs? The only bad things I can think of it were the aforementioned Ghost, Second Chance and AK. And the spawns weren't that good. I can't find any other major flaws with it.

I'm trying really hard to get the Think Fast Stun challenge before I prestige, but absolutely no one is using the second chance type thing. It's so annoying. Any tips?
