I don't dream because I don't sleep, I'm racing. And yes I've found it has got 6 gears!

I've decided to up my game. ;) At least for 20 minutes or so, my concentration usually goes after that. Which is when Simba pounced. :dopey: More coffee required beforehand.

I haven't run anything on Friday for a couple of weeks. I'll see about maybe tomorrow. 👍
 
@Mr Grumpy is organising this informal cross platform competition over HERE. I just wondered if any of you chaps were interested in taking part? There's a few slots free for this inaugural run. It's a race when you're available event!
 
I'm too scared to watch that! A few minor mistakes and then one that I thought would be minor until it took me about twenty seconds to get back onto the track...
I take solace from the fact that you deserved to be ahead of me given your better fastest lap times. Good racing.
 
Sonoma, it's certainly not very forgiving of the slightest mistake. I qualified midfield and then driving fairly steadily I mainly benefited from mistakes and misfortunes by those ahead to gain places. I had a couple of on sand experiences, one of my own making and the other caused by a lag spike just at the wrong moment. @beachboy6658 was closing in my mirror towards the end. :)

3rd behind @AndreasR and @jammy21, that's like a win. :p
What happened @lancerevoo? You seemed to be having difficulty. Very tricky around there with a controller I expect.

Good to have @WiSchmo and @Napalm_LT back with us. 👍

As much as I like it in my short races on Fridays they are in more controllable cars. At less than a minute a lap 35ish times around there in the Mustang might just be a little much! Texas road coarse, which incorporates much of the infield, would be a better choice IMO. It'd be less chaotic and you'd get them into 6th gear at last.

I was playing on a small tv for the first time and driving this car for the first time and i don't know the track . I was surpriced i had pole . next week will be better i hope then i have my new tv
 
This might be of interest for the British drivers in our championship. The British GT championship has finally gone underway at Oulton Park. It's quite interesting from a sim racers perspective as James Baldwin, winner of McLaren's World's Fastest Gamer, is driving a McLaren 720S for Jenson Button's team. It will be his first real life racing experience, apart from a pre-season and pre-corona test at Paul Ricard.

Here's the official playlist with quali highlights and full race replays. It will be updated as the season continues.
