More Smoke!

Hi all im only a new to this site! got to say its the muts nuts! love it! keep up the good work. ther has got to be more smoke in the new GT5! Its a must!

Kind of a waste of development time and computer hardware if you ask me - much like animated pit crews. They don't add anything to the play value of the game. How about better AI or more cars on the track? Customizable races (choose your opponents) or even customizable tracks. Things you actually get real enjoyment out of. Hell if you're asking for more smoke you might as well ask for more titties.

I think smoke serves a function for realistic racing. Have you ever seen a spinout in NASCAR? There's so much smoke the people behind can't see anything.

skidmarks are more important to me. and it does add to the realism of the game. ive never seen a drift power slide with very little smoke so they need to fix that. burnouts would be fun though. it would be fun to powerbrake for a while and leave a cloud of smoke

They do..... maybe not QUITE that much, but they do. I think PD could work on the sound though, it's really pretty terrible.

I was thinking the exact same thing as I was eating today. I was watching Formula D... and realized that the hard part of being the chaser in the drift tandems is having to see through all the smoke. With more smoke, also comes more excitement. Hell, if they can't make more smoke, atleast make it dissipate slower. Smoke normally stays for several seconds irl, but in GT4... it's like "Smoke, no smoke". Pisses me off.

ya i would like to see the same too, i can imagine being able to make clouds of smoke in a stand still just like in real life. That would just be too awesome, skids marks would also be so kooooll

I think more smoke and making it disipate slower would be very nice and adds to the fun of drifting.......and also they include some drifting event or tournaments in the new Gran Turismo because their are a lot of people out there who love the sport of drifting. So yes, more smoke please that way drifting will be more enjoyable

To do a burn out like that you just need a rwd car with a lot of torque and set the brake on 24/0
