Ok, this may have been posted already, but I couldn't find it.

So anyway, just simply the most fun you've had driving any car (preferably not OP like the...ahem, x2010...)

Mine was the Lambo Countach LP400 '74 with no tuning of sorts but all driver aids turned off, around the Monaco track (forget the proper name). Absolutely loved it.

No aids, no ABS, in the tuned Amuse 380RS around the Ring with Sports Medium....sweaty palms, every braking zone is tricky, and the car is so happy to 4 wheel drift all day....

Fun time....now to make a Nurburgring 4 hour setup for that car...
 
For me, Tsukuba is a lot of fun. I could (and have) spend hours there trimming my lap times in just about anything, but the ARTA NSX is probably my favourite so far. There's a video of Keiichi Tsuchiya taking that very car (except an older version) round that circuit and it's just insane.

Other than that, creating a new circuit in course maker then running it in a fairly fast car with the map and HUD turned off is terrifying but also very fun; I did that very thing in the Impreza hatchback and Evo IV. At the end of the long straight, there was a dip followed by a bump, immediately followed by a very sharp uphill corner; needless to say it took a lot of practice to get that right.
 
M3 with 20 or so more bhp, full weight reduction, full aero kit and racing med or soft is pure sex around the Nordschleife
 
I think Tsukuba is my favorite as well, I usually do it in slower stuff like Mx-5s but I'm gunna go do some laps in the Super GT cars now. :) I also have a TVR that I've tuned for the track that is terrifyingly fun.

It's a deceptively simple looking track, you look at it and think ahh it's flat with like 5 corners, easy peasy. But you have to be pinpoint accurate, every inch counts on this track, and like neema said above you'll spend hours and hours chasing tenths and love every second of it.
 
Fully tuned RUF RGT at the ring. Trust me, that is one scary combo. Also, TVR Speed 12 at the ring is hair raising as well.

A fully tuned Alfa Romeo giulia TZ2 zagato round the nurburgring. It isn't powerful but it's lighter than the old mini! The level of grip on it's stock race hard tires are magical.
 
For me it would be my French Blue RUF CTR2 around Trail Mountain. Although, any heavy drift happy car is incredible fun around this track.

But for a world circuit, it would have to be my Toyota TSO20 on Nurburgring.
 
A full tuned RMed '10 Camaro at night round the Green Hell on Sport Mediums. Very interesting.
 
Mazda 787b. What a beast. I used it the second time I did the 3 races with the JGTC, don't remember the name, sorry. In the first race ( suzuka ) I lapped all but 4 cars, the second race I lapped all the cars, the third race I was right on the bumper of lapping the final car. What a screamer, AND IT TURNS!

One you have become proficient at the Nurburgring, it seems like none of the other tracks really cut it anymore. Anyone else feel the same? The Nurburgring at dawn is something very special. Also, I must be one of the very few who don't like to 'fully tune' every one of their cars. I love the character of the cars as they are purchased. They feel different from each other. I do change the exhaust if the sound isn't good enough.
 
Nür has everything. Only thing to remember is to not watch the lap times too closely. It's a fast track and even NASCAR can get a good lap time there with raw power. The rythm and surface are unique there...

I too don't like to tune my cars too far as they seem to lose personality the more you tune them.
