I think he grabbed the A-pillar because he was about to signal for people to pass him on the left, but the car suddenly stepped out. But of course it could have been just an idiotic move.

I have been on track with people who try grab your A pillar, while your lapping them,

I commonly see people bagging other's for their skills or lack of, seriously, he is pushing pretty hard and pooing at the same time, atleast he has the pressence of mind to wave people by, funny how people focus negatives when they wouldn't have the mind to do that or provide evidence they can do better,
