Went over, googled "Acura ALMS 2009" and found the answer.

I know that works because thats what I had to do. You see I tried just the team name, but when more info was needed, I found it.

Why was this car so special at the 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans.

What was it's name?

Its called the Oreca 01 Swiss Hy-tech hybrid, it had a flybrid system. The first of its kind to compete at Le Mans.
 
The only thing I could find is the system was 100 kw, I'm not sure if that helps me in any way.
 
2003 Multimatic Daytona Prototype (don't know the specific name).
 
You're good at this, I thought the Panoz logo would throw a wrench in the works.......I worked on this one too BTW. This pic is from the 2003 Rolex where we took DP pole and a class win.....TRG won the race overall with a 911.

I'm going to have to look for more obscure stuff if I keep this up. I've got one in mind but I have to find the pic.

The first car that Adrian Newey designed (what was it?) was also the first car of its type to win at Daytona with what manufacturer's engine?

Hope that makes sense, it makes sense in my head...
 
The first car Adrian Newey designed was the March 84C. It was also the first GTP car to win the Daytona 24 Hours in 1984 and that particular car (The winning car) was powered by the same Porsche Flat-6 that was found in the 956 Group C car (Which wasn't legal for IMSA competition).
 
Kingofweasles is correct. It was the 1st GTP car to win with Porsche power, and it was the March 84C. The car that actually won was the March-Porsche 84C/04.

That was apparently not as obscure as I thought it was.... Your turn sir.
 
OK then...I'm somewhat bad at doing these myself, but here goes:

In what year did a car that had set the fastest time in qualifying for Lemans 24 Hours fail to start from the pole position?
