Alright, simple thread. As with most trivia threads, someone asks a question and whoever answers it, gets to ask the next one and so on and so forth. Let's not only use quotes, so as to make it mroe fun. And try not to make too obscure question.

I'll start.

In the Terminator movies, what company is responsible for the takeover of the machines?

Sure.

My bad, I logged off right after I posted that, so I never came back to check up on it.

oh well, your 30 minute window is closed... so here's the next question:

In Pulp Fiction, the couple who rob the restaurant, Tim Roth is the guy and I think the woman is Amanda Plummer. What do they call each other?

I got one. How many samurais were actually in the "Seven Samurai" by Akira Kurosawa?

Hint: It wasn't seven.

Why the hell call it Seven Samurai's if there arent seven..... my guess 5

If I recall, wasn't there 6, one of them wasn't a proper samurai, but he was working up to be one. Mind you there's been that many variations of this film it's hard to remember them all correctly .

live4speed, that is the correct answer. 👍 One was a phony, pretending to be one. Go!

Okay heres one that's not too hard. In the Movie Spaceballs the actor John hurt said "not again", this was in referrence to what?

hmmm... I don't recally the exact part where that happens in the movie. But John Hurt had an alien come out of him in the movie Alien and there's a part in Spaceballs where an alien comes out of someone, I'm guessing it's him. Oddly enough, the alien becomes the WB frog.

Well your guess is a good one. In Spaceballs at the end John Hurt has an Alien burst out of his chest and as it's coming out he say's not again, this is in referrence to the same thing happening (the alien bursting out his chest, not the song and dance it does afterwards ) to him in the film Alien.

narrator is what he is referred to in the credits, however it is suspected that his name is Jack and the name Rupert can be found on his name tag when Ed Norton goes to the help groups

Right, Now you've got it right.

Indeed, in the book he remains nameless. But in the movie, he is never named, and according to the final credits he is only "Narrator". In the DVD packaging and menus, he is referred to as "Jack." When the film ran on TV, the closed captions referred to his character as "Rupert."

Additionally, in the press packages released for the movie, which came in the form of Ikea-esque catalogues, Edward Norton's character is referred to as "Jack".

So his name would indicate to be Jack.

In the film Magnolia what significance do the numbers 8 and 2 (seen frequently throughout) play? I would like a full answer too not just a few words saying what the numbers literally refer to. There is a meaning behind it all

I don't know if you're aware of this, but 8 and 2 are numbers, not letters.

You're not drunk, are you?

yeah...it refers to the Exodus 8:2 which in turn reflects on the inner "moral" of the movie....that is (i don't want to be wordy)...
You be a dikk...and you'll be dikked
