Except for the few times the game's unrealistic physics decided to screw with me it was a lot of fun. I was amazed to see 3 cars close to each other on the map throughout the whole race. People usually think endurance races are lonely things but not always!

Here is the prove of 3 cars close to each other multiple times (5 different cars) !

It was brilliant with a lot of respect for each other. I think the field was pretty far apart but the laps were consistent. I was driving 2:00 round after round and dont think up front it was much faster.

We were lapped near the end but actually not slower than #1 and fighting for 10th position. Still feels strange to pass the race leader so it caused some strange situations.

I lost some time in the pit not knowing that damage is repaired as well. Did not know this and got off the race pace. In case Rinsky was wondering where I suddenly was.

Have to say that 1 hour endurance would suffice for me. The action of the first hour is enough fun and the last 30 min there are not too many important changes.

But this has also to do with the inhuman time for me at this age. It is 04:10 in the morning.

Thanks all for the great races, especially those with whom I was fighting for position multiple times.

After the first little contact I had some damage (aero according to the pit repair) so I decided to pit early just to repair and put me off the pit cycle of everyone else. I probably could have stayed out because it only took 2.6 seconds to repair. RH tires lasted really long and I ran my fastest laps on worn tires which is always good. Shows there's plenty of pace to find. I completely lost track of if I finished on the lead lap

Well that was interesting. First lap, have a mild accident avoiding a slow car, and a minute later the car literally loses power.

Like the power at only my house went out. We thought it was the neighborhood cause we had a hailstorm an hour before. But nope. Just us, dang. Actually sending this from my phone atm.

So I'd say the cause of my car's failure was one of the techs forgot to tighten down a battery connector when working on the car. Haha

I hope it was a good race. I wish I could have made it. Monza would have been a great track for the Lamborghini. And failing to show up for my manufacture's home race. I hope Lamborghini doesn't fire me.

Good race there. Sorry that I braked way early there but was trying to hit my breaking mark which is the white line. Also with the contact between us I was trying to figure out what happened but it appears it was lag caused bump but overall good race.

Overall it was a fun race and we had a pretty good turnout for it. After the endurance race, I hop into the last Manufacturer race for the night and happened to be in the same room as @Rinsky and @Infineon, which went decently well.

Looking forward to next months race.

Will there be a gallery with pictures or some videos about the race ?

If not I can make more pictures and some race videos if people are interested. I have some experience with that from the lobbies I have been organising myself.

Yea whatever happened in the first turn costed me about a minute in lost time from limping back to the pits and doing an extra stop compared to everyone else.

What car were you in? I had to slow my pace down to be 100 % sure to have enough fuel left. Sorry about the erratic driving due to it lol.

I was in the Ferrari. Am ready. Have made 10 videos. Need to upload them on YouTube. Sound quality is bad and sometimes you here our dog or my wife but I think everybody saved his own replay for the “real stuff”.

What a deeply frustrating race! Definitely not the track for the Trophy ha ha!

Silly spin on the first chicane cost me loads of time to whiteflight, about 20 seconds I think then again dipped a tyre and almost completely lost it again lap after.

Settled down to try and catch up whilst fuel saving, got second back then just went as fast as I could whilst saving fuel and trying to catch whiteflight, slowly but surely reeled him in though. Last pit stop managed to run one more lap, meant I could push a bit more.

Was at 5 seconds at that point but pushed hard to catch up, nearly had an epic crash with whoever was in the black Mclaren? Trying to make a move down the straight and they were coming out the pit I think?

Anyway just waited for the right time to pass, finally it came and took first. From that point felt confident I had the win as started to pull away. Until the red bollard of death showed its face in the middle of the track 8mins from the end! Too tired to react hit it, spun me and damaged my car.

Last 8mins had no pace at all because of the damage then halfway through the penultimate lap 0.7 fuel warning pops up, so had to go straight to map 6 and crazy short shifting to crawl over in third.

Still a good race though, thank you all 👍

This was a lot of fun but the multiple tire compounds throws me off. I stayed on RH the whole time and made each set last roughly 30 minutes. But fuel was going faster. If I didn't pit at first for that little damage and let my tires go a full stint, I might have done a stop at around 30 min, 60 min, and maybe one last fuel fill at the end but didn't work out that way.

Personally, for a 90 minute race I think tire/fuel wear was set one notch too high. Maybe x3 fuel and x5 tires? In real life a 90 minute race usually has only one or two pit stops and we were all doing at least 3 yea? I'd also like everyone on the same tires as that helps keep everyone close but it's not my series to change. Just suggestions

I had loads of fun last night. If you haven't noticed by now I always start in the very last position 14th. I even do this in every FIA event. It really helps learning to run in heavy traffic and keeping it clean. It's also possible to get a finish if you happen to fall back that far.
I Kept my nose clean and only ran off into the sand once trying to reel in @Infineon
I finished 6th and @ERAUfan97 fell behind me on the first lap and finished 4th so don't get discouraged if you fall back.

I stayed on RM the whole race and pitted around every 8 laps. I could easily go 10 laps on fuel and tires but seen no advantage in my lap times to do it. So I would change tires and only take 80% fuel every 8 laps and that really helped me catch up to the group.

I watched the whole replay of the race looking at all the incidence or accidents and nothing was done intentionally everything was just part of racing. I know @fastone371 was upset about a tap he got but looking back at the replay it was just a chain reaction. Someone got loose in the chicane and caused everyone to slow down fast. Then you got tapped and that person got tapped and on and on.
I have seen nothing to suggest anyone was racing dirty.

Yes I wondered what happened to you. Thanks for saying awake and joining us. Awesome photos too.
We have talked about changing the time before but others have plans and have fit this exact time into their schedules so we ruled out changing it.

Always a good time when we race each other and we stayed together for most of the race. That was cool that all 3 of us were in the manufacturers race together too. I got an ok finish 10th from starting 20th. Hard to pass on that track.

I watched the battle between you two and it was a good one. Sorry it ended up that way. I know who knocked the barrier into the track and I'm not happy about that whole situation and I will resolve that issue with this person.

I have always liked having different tire compounds to choose from. Some races I'm on RH and others on RM and I will switch compounds during a race also.

But if everyone here would rather run one tire compound only then I have no problem changing it.

One feature I miss from GT6 was the mandatory tire compound change. Hope it comes back some day.
