Must have cars

Hello everyone newbie here driver here and over all new to sim racing :-)

I'm starting to build my collection of cars and I'm wondering what are the "MUST HAVE" cars in the garage? Race car, F1, etc. and why?

"Must have" is ENTIRELY subjective, m'man. With over 1,000 cars in the game, lots of people are going to have different opinions on what cars are the most fun to drive.

That's hard to answer.

I'd definitely recommend getting at least one GT300 car (preferably the Cusco Dunlop Subaru Impreza '08 or the Autobacs ARTA Garaiya '08), one GT500 car (Nissan Xanavi Nismo Z '06, Nissan Calsonic IMPUL GT-R '08 or Honda Raybrig NSX '06).
From what I know, the Super GT cars (both classes) happen to be pretty popular, and they're incredibly fun to drive.

Don't forget the DTM cars! The Mercedes CLK touring car's still one of my all-time favourites, sooo well balanced

Not the one everyone choses and not the fastest in their class i assume but they are all great to drive and good looking too

My favourites an for me must have cars are:
Mercedes SLS (both basic an tuned version)
McLaren F1
SL 500 (tuned but not fully)

FGT, same reason
NSX-R lm road car, because it drifts

I would say X2010 as you can have your Spec B driver grind with it. Go get your self one if you don't have yet before March 3.

- McLaren F1 is another one for online racing.
- F2007 because one day you'll find yourself needing one.
- Any of the Stealth and Chromeline cars just because they are the rarest imho. You can't have one of those unless you pre-order the game or bought the game that comes with the dlc code for it. It can't be shared nor can be traded. =
