Must KILL song!

I had two playlists that I wanted to use. I had some fast songs for racing, but I also had some chill songs for messing around in the menus. I tried loading both playlists, and couldn't get it to work. Can only one playlist be used? Could be that I'm just loading them wrong.

I have really grown to hate that song. To my knowledge there is no way to remove it since it is before a race. And only like 2 songs play before a race so you hear it a lot. Most people seem to agree that it is horrible so hopefully they will patch the game with an option to remove it some day? I still doubt it.

Actually, I love [especially] the Breakbot remix of Pnau's "Baby." It was a song I basically grew to love hearing it so much on YouTube. I wouldn't even mind hearing it play in the background when the Starting Grid is displayed for a real race. Doesn't get old for me.

I like it until they started singing. The song that I hate is the UCD song. I hate it so much, I turned off my menu music just for that.

I just wish you didn't have to listen to the crap that comes with the game in Online lobby's, I end up starting my own with mic's off just so I don't have to have my ears killed >_>

Turning the music BGMs to off in options section under My Home Settings did the trick. Now all I hear from the game is the sound effects, engine noise, and on track/crowd noise. Can turn up my home stereo and listen to what I want without any annoyance from the games "muzak" playing on my lousy TV speakers.

So I went through the music settings thing and made sure every single song in there was unchecked. I wanted nothing but the sounds from the car and my home stereo playing my music, not electronically created remixs of stuff you couldn't pay me to listen to the original version of. And guess what! The music plays on...

Why can't I find a simple button to click that turns ALL music in the game off? They gave me a way to skip the opening movie why not the so called music?

I'm having similar problem as yours. I've been playing the game since December with my own playlist. Then, all of the sudden a week ago, the game decided that it didn't want to play my songs in the race anymore. I tried everything I could think of and it refuses to cooperate. Racing is a lot harder without Clutch playing in the background.

Also, I hate the baby song WITH A PASSION! A patch would be nice to be able to get rid of it...HINT F'N HINT Poly.

But no seriously why can't we choose which songs we want the game to play in the pre-race menu? They made all these other songs and a nice system that allows you to customize them according to function, and then they force you to listen to either an annoying baby song or some dull techno in the menu that you use most of the time.

Actually you can KILL all the music. Just go into the options menu under audio and turn all music BGM off. You'll still have all the sound effects and on track sounds, just no music anywhere in the game!:tup:👍

The children singing about being forced to love someone by God makes me want to stuff my eyeballs into my ears to block it out. I can not identify it by title, so I can not pluck it from the library. Please help...

I actually kinda like the sound of it. Without a doubt the most horrific, dreadful noise in the game is The Lisbon Maru, by the **** Buttons. It doesn't sound quite so horrible when listening to it elsewhere, but while I'm racing it just sounds like a bunch of shrill noise, like cyborg crickets shrieking or something. It's the only song I bothered to hunt down and disable.

Are you talking about the song that plays before races sometimes? If you are....god I hate it too. It has live no meaning and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the game.

I can't think of any songs in GT5 that has something to do with the game. What songs on the soundtrack are specifically about cars, racing, or even just competition? Planetary (GO!), I suppose, at least in that certain lines of the lyrics sound like they're remotely racing-related, although they aren't really racing-related.

This is exactly what i'm thinking of. Also apply to UCD/OCD dealerships. HATE it. Annoys me a lot.
