Mustang or Evo?

Evo's are slow, even in 2 Fast 2 Furious, the Chevrolet Camaro SS, and that 1970 Dodge Challenger easliy outrun it. But why waste gas racing an Evo?
Did you ever think that 2 Fast 2 Furious, being an American film might make American cars look a bit better? Also, can you imagine what would happen if any cars on that film tried to turn a corner? Someone would be injured!

Sorry to burst your bubble but a Camaro or Charger would smoke an Evo any day of the week.

I's an American film, but it's aimed at the "import tuner" crowd. Regardless, it's got absolutely zip, zero, zilch, nothing tp do with reality in any way.

Topic, please...

If your talking about drag racing then your probably right. The Evo is a much more well balanced vehicle and will kill a mustang in the twisties, and that's were the true skill lies anyway. Also, a fully tuned Evo will have such an advantage in the power to weight ratio, not to mention AWD giving it a huge advantage in any situation. I know alot of you are just showing your american pride by choosing the mustang, but you have to put loyalties to keep the comparison unbiased. They are both good cars, but very different. The Mustang is a good drag car, And the Evo is an outstanding touge or rally car. Comparing these two cars is kind of a lost cause, as they are just too different.;)

In GT3 the Mustang will take a large, steamy dump all over any Evo (bar the rally cars).

Charger R/T - maximum signature length is 6 lines; Yours is 7 lines. And I'd wager you've never been in the passenger seat of a launching Evo/Scooby.

Er-hem, thankyou! Anyway, I have just bought a Mustang in GT3, and I think I understand a bit better now:) But trust me zeroly a Camaro SS does not stand a chance against an Evo. A little one? No. That's my point so I hope I don't get any more flames aimed in my direction:p

all i could find for stats on a stock lancer, so as the numbers tell in real life a stock cobra r would beat a stock evo in drag and through the twisties, i don't think the evo pulls more cornering g's then the mustang, just my opinion though.

:) ;)

i quote silvadrifter on the first page of this fourm "I agree, the mustang is really ugly and too heavy. And whats the deal with that weird spoiler, I mean who designed that thing."
i have 6 words to say: look at your icon you flamer (its a mustang)

My icon? do you mean my avatar? If so, it is not a mustang, it is a Silvia......Flamer

Oh my god!! Your right!!, I am changing it now. Allthough the Cobra is a decent car I definitely don't want it in my avatar. Oh, and man I can drift, you have not proven yourself very knowledgeable, so watch who you call a flamer....flamer.

if you have to get an evo or a cobra go with the cobra.

it has a higher bhp and with a few small upgrades can win the super speedway race in the gran turismo world championship in beginer. it will get u 10,000 credits per race. save up and get a the most expensive skyline. its worth it.

<------------------ go with this car.

I used the Version VI in GT3 to get past the Ameteur cup. later I got the R34 GT-R V-Spec II for some tire-killing 4WD cup racing.

A chance to do what?!

Starting with a budget of 40,000 cr including purchase price, the SS will handle the Amateur FR and NA cups. Will a 40,000 Evo handle the Amateur AWD and Turbo cups?

I'll support Mr. Duke.

👍 Dollar for Dollar, the Camaro will kick the Evo's butt. Up to a point, then PD pushed their favoritism of the Japanese cars 👎 I've figured that in the 40-50,000 range, the best choice is American Muscle.

I hope this guy is speaking in terms of the game and not real life, because if he is I think he's forgotten about the fact that. Japanese cars in JAPAN are usually tuned alot better than elsewhere.

I'm just wondering how they put the favoritism in japanese cars, when some of the best Japanese cars...best features..wernt' included.....
3000GT's lack of AWS...
300zx's lack of AWS
NSX's crisp azz steering characteristics were excluded aswell
But every American car in there has all of it's features incorperated.
Corvette z06 gets rediculous HP w/ oil change
The Camaro Z28 handles alot better in the game than it does IRL with stock tires.
SS is about right.
And I wouldn't know about the Cobra R because I havn't driven/been passenger in one...

Stop complaining, use the best cars in the world...the British ones!:)

Best Cars in the world = Italian......
Most Expensive cars in the world = Italian....
Best OVERALL cars in the world = Japanese
Most stand out-ish cars in the world (which is still kick ass) British.
