I'm a bit annoyed with Amazon UK.
They have stated since this morning that my CE is being dispatched soon.
Also I cannot change or cancel my order, my funds have also been debited.

I was going to cancel them if there was no news today, as it is I'm in limbo.:grumpy:

Are you in South Wales? I'm sure their warehouse is near Cardiff. I think it calls for a tactical extraction, go and get mine while you're at it.

I got the Same Message at 6-45am today

Then at 13-22pm i got the Message it had been Dispatched

Hopefully you'll get the same Message in a while 👍
 
how are they arriveing with the postman or with dhl or home or someone else? my postmans bin and ive got no game, orderd from play :'(
 
My standard edition just arrived from amazon! Really wasn't expecting it to come today as it changed to dispatched just yesterday afternoon.

Unfourtunately I've just been informed the Golf 1.4TSI DSG I have on order won't be built until January, so this ofsets things nicely :)

The tracking on my Signature Edition from Game is now showing

23-11-2010 13:20 National Hub Received and processed

and it says the expected delivery date is today. I don't believe will be today though! At least I know it'll be coming tommorrow... :-)
 
Just got it from shopto, but i did pay £6 for next day delivery :P

WOOT

now i only have to wait 3 and half hours before i can leave work...................

I ordered mine from Amazon Uk, i got an email saying they had dispatched it about an hour ago, i checked the website and its currently in swansea, which is about 30mins drive from here.

I'm either to assume it was dispatched before the email to be dropped off at a swansea delivery depot, or to assume its coming from the big ass amazon warehouse in swansea and thus it hasnt moved yet. My delivery date isnt until tomorrow according to the website, however.
 
Shopto are still pretty killer when it comes to getting games the day before release.

Not only that, but they were the cheapest around at the time, AND I still got it the day before release with cheapo, freebie delivery.

Very annoyed with game,
Surely if anyone should get the game early it should be those who paid more, and bought the SE. Not the other way around.

So: Get home from work, check GT5, no doubt it hasn't arrived.

However, if it has arrived, begin install, eat dinner, tidy house etc, and go to bed. Wake up, and go to work, to come home 24hrs after install started and it might be finished? :sly:

It's more likely it's not going to be there. My order was dispatched from Play at 19:45 on Friday, just been home... nowt.

My CE from Amazon UK has just been dispatched with 24th still showing as delivery estimate. So from Cardiff to London in 24hrs, over to you Royal Mail!

Nice to hear others aren't, as it's worse when everyone else's arrives, you go home all excited and find nothing. lol.

Just a shame I have such a busy day at work tomorrow so no skiving for me, boo hiss :(

Second class mail (according to the Royal Mail site) is "usually within three working days after posting"

Play.com say delivery is between 3 to 5 days ...Is there a 3rd class post? :crazy:

The 3 days stated for 2nd class are working days, weekends do not count, so Play's 3 to 5 days estimate does make sense if they send everything 2nd class.
