I'm now a firm believer that God has a sense of humor! I've been waitin all day to get tracking info for GT5, but in the meantime I was trying to Gold the rest of the events on Prologue. Well, how about I just finished gettin the last gold I needed and right after I did it I checked Amazon and it said "SHIPPED" LMAO Like God said... "Now you're ready...." LOL Too funny!

Just got my email from Amazon and tracking number. Already in transit and shall be here when I get off of work around 4. And just in time, too. Just finished putting my VDUB MK3 together.

My account was debited yesterday by Gamestop. It still hasn't shipped, but I did get an email from them with my redeem codes for the pre-order cars! Anyone in the US get a shipment confirmation and tracking number?

I received an email from gamestop at 1448 that had the code for the downloadable cars, and then an hr later I received another email from gamestop with a tracking #. It says overnight express saver, so it better be here tomorrow. It still doesnt show an expected delivery date, just a ship date of today.

If you mean you have to wait 10 days before you can pick it up, you might want to rethink that. My receipt from Gamestop says "New release products will be held for 48 hours after release." Presumably after that they can sell you pre-order.

If you mean it'll be 10 days before you can play, then disregard the above. :D
 
Ive just been to my gamestation and picked up my signature edition, I know i'm 21 but Im like a kid at christmas, Ive taken photo's of unwrapping etc, I think Im going to post them up as she installs!!

Cant believe how made the wallet is! Fantastic, can't wait to try win that SLS Merc :D

:lol: actually I'm having my preorder mailed to me. So it might take awhile according to the website. Darn, wish Canada had overnight delivery. :indiff:

Gamestop sent me an email saying my CE has been shipped :D

The only thing that has me worried is that Gamestop hasn't charged my account, which I thought they were suppose to do when the product is shipped.
 
finally... got an email from Amazon US that my copy is on it's way.

Amazon.co.uk today has released my copy of GT5 (my location is dublin). I paid extra for delivery so went with UPS(1 day delivery).

They have a scanning system of the package which currently atm reads.

Yeah, currently installing! Its saying like 20 minutes, but its lying to me I bet :(

Still, was so happy. The guy was making fun of me, "Oh we dont have that game in stock" or "there's only one!" when two of us were stood there. I was ready for a battle to the death.

I got there at like 5 til and the guy had no idea about it at all, but he rang up the assistant manager who got them from the back, and I checked out at 12:03.

And yeah, I'm doubtful about the 20 minute thing as well.. as my bar has moved a good bit but it still says "Approx 20 mins left"

Just over 1/3rd done and still "12 minutes left" its been like that since 12:30 - That aint 12 minutes GT!! I wish it wouldn't lie, haha.

So happy its finally here, I'm supposed to be up in 7hrs 15 but its not going to happen I dont think, might have to call in claiming bad chikin!!!

Edit: its now at 50% and says 5 minutes. Maybe time in Japan is different...

Very nearly done. Will post tomorrow. Busy racing in 5 mins :D

Yay :)

Just got back from Walmart and now have my copy of GT5. Only about 10 others were there waiting for it. Kinda sucked though because they had no CE's.

Oh well, that can be bought as a backup disc when the dust has settled i suppose.

Im off to get some much needed sleep. Then i will wake and install the game ive been waiting ages for 👍
