My GT5 has been dispatched

I knew I should not have ordered this game online. I ordered the CE from Amazon, and it looks like I have about another 12 hours to wait until it gets here :'(
 
Ordered mine on Play a few months ago, and wife has just called me to say that the post has come, but no game.

I'm gutted. What makes it worse is that no-one in my office understands how a 36 year old father of two can feel like this.

I was waiting for my GT5 to come through in the post yesterday from Play.Com. I saw a package from Play.com at my door. I thought to myself "FINALLY ITS HERE!" I opened it and turned out to be NFS HP On Xbox 360 for my brother. You can imagine how gutted I was. Oh well heres being hopeful today! :)

That would have killed me mate, i'd have been like a proper deflated baloon!! I purpousfully put off ordering a dvd the other day as I didn't want this scenario to happen! ha

Oh, and no word of my play.com either, but the mrs says that postie doesn't come until lunch-ish, and she's out at the moment too. It could be on my door mat, all lonely, and cold just wanting to be put in my PS3. :(

And turbo tulip.....I have almost just shed a tear mate, for you and for me...I hope mine from play.com arrives today! I'd have thought yours was more likely being from way down south and all that.

Yeah I think it had an affect on me at college too haha I had no energy. I should know in about 30-45 minutes though. Fingers crossed 👍

EDIT: And what made it worst two very good friends of mine recieved their copies yesterday.

When I read your Play.com copy hadn't arrived I hoped that you live nowhere near me. Just checked and you're in Surrey, thankfully nowhere near Manchester, My hope level has gone back up a notch. Please let the north have received their copies!

mines just arrived, doing the install now

ordered from littlewoods months ago with a load of discount I had accrued

They have always turned up on the release date (FIFA,NFS:Shift and now most importantly GT5!!!)

best of luck to all those still waiting

kids at school, mrs in town.... mate on his way round... although I might keep shtum for an hour or so :)

Mail man delivered my copy 5 minutes ago! It would have been here yesterday but I wasn't home :scared:

I feel pretty lucky that my order arrived on time, considering all the problems people have been experiencing. Preordered my CE copy last week and got it despatched this monday :sly:

Now just gotta wait 6 more days to play it since I'm in London. :ouch:

Still happy i have my copy. Apex book looks awesome, great read.
As for the game manual, I found it very thin and not up to PD standards!
Can't wait to play this baby 👍

Glad you got the game mate. As for the manual, as far as I know, it's all in the game menu's now, like a full on guide. Think PD are saving the universe, one copy of GT5 at a time!!!

EDIT: mk1junkie, I thought the codes were emailed out to you on release week? Then you redeem them through the PSN store and download the cars there, just like a demo etc.
 
Ordered it from Hmv and it arrived this morning! :). Only problem is I didnt recieve my pre order codes so im looking into that now.

On the site it says that they will e-mail the codes the same week that the game is out. I checked my e-mail this morning and there are no codes in there as yet.
 
GUYS, im in the north, widnes to be exact, still got no mail for me, ordered the CE one, getting so annoyed now, i probably will cry if i dont get it today lol, ordered with Play.com, apparently it was posted on saturday morning, 3-5 days delivery, so im SO hoping i get it today!!!

Well my tracking status has been stuck on 'Swindon Depot' since last night, so I found a telephone number for HDNL Swindon, and a helpful lady advised that my item had been loaded onto a van out for delivery today 10 minutes ago! Looks like there is a strong chance I will get this today after all.
 
I ordered CE from Play.com, apparently it got posted on Saturday morning; I'm in the north - Widnes, actually, if anyone needs to know - still no post..... waiting in anger. I'll also feel upset if it doesnt come today...

my SE from Gamestation uk just arrived - at home. And I'm at work :(

My housemate who is off work with food poisoning has just sent me a picture of the box. He had better not vom all over it!

This,they were 3 days late with my Need for speed game but now I don't care about that,if they can keep an order for 3 years and 3 days...I'm impressed.👍

Still waiting on the install to complete.
