Name, not PSN ID

Since when did the game start to refer to me by my name instead of my PSN ACCOUNT id? Just wondering... I like it but I just noticed it a min ago

Offline, your PS3 sign-in ID is used. Online, your PSN ID is used.

I have lots of accounts on my PS3, so they tend to be the same as the PSN ID of that account to save mix-ups. I imagine many people are the same and thus wouldn't notice this distinction.

Gotcha... thanks. I guess since the PSN is down right now this is the first time I raced with my PS offline.
