You know, at this point, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he's leading tonight, and a black hole appears out of nowhere. He, and only he drives straight into it, never to be seen again.

Anybody know what time the actual race is going to start?
 
Jayski's race info page lists green flag at approximately 6:19pm EST.
 
Predictions:

1. Gordon will finish in the 30s.
2. Danica will DNF.
3. Johnson or Kyle will win the 600.
 
Fords 1st - 3rd yessss!
 
This must be a special day for a Charlotte race.

In the Indy 500, we saw debris tumbling on the backstretch, but no caution.

In the Coke 600, we saw a yellow flag, but no debris show on TV.

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be much racing to talk about. More short tracks please.

Gordo's strategy didn't work out so well, hard to believe.

Yep, so far this is pretty boring to watch.
 
Not pitting was a bad decision for Jeff.

Unless more "debris" is found fairly soon.
 
Not a good strategy for Jeff Gordon. I mean, it did allow him to restart in the front but with all of the other drivers running fresher tires he is little challenge for the drivers behind him to make a move against him.
 
Actually it looks like it's turned out to be an ok choice so far.
