Finally buying a JG24 T-shirt. Been waiting ages! 👍 Some good merchandise on his official website.

EDIT:And if you didn't see Race hub today Jimmy Spencer brought up a good point on how if more foreign car companies came into nascar, it would give the sport MUCH more publicity. Nissan's R35 would be perfect! Even know they probably use the Altima instead.

How about a European one? Possibly BMW or Volkswagen?

They would use the Altima since it competes directly with the Fusion and Camry. Plus Nissan is using the new Altima in the Australian V8 Supercar series next year.

There were rumors of VW a while back, but I think they shot it down.

Shoot now I feel bad... :( RIP

And he posts a news link that Belongs in the Indycar thread and NOT the NASCAR thread.

Why is he still here again?

So you quote all of our posts and respond with something that has nothing do with with the conversation? :odd:

Excuse my enthusiasm.

@Race

You can post it there if you want, I don't think it matters much. It has to do with both sort of.

It's already been discussed in the Indycar thread, where it is pertinent, because Jay Penske is the owner of Dragon Racing.

Oh I don't follow indy car, but if owns his own team he must be at odds with his father then.

Now to get his back on track, I want to talk ask what others think about this whole Brad K truck deal/Parker/Ryan Blaney.

Parker seemed to actually be bashing BKR's trucks like they were crap, but Red Horse seems to go trough drivers like underwear. Am I only one to say he is full of it?

On that same note, on another forum they bring up Toyota helping Red Horse and Mopar not giving any support to BKR, I call BS and think Mopar gives some support to help them out even if it might be funded more through Penske/Brad? Who does Red Horse get engines from because I thought it was Triad but was told Gibbs now (yet they get TRD engines).

I hope Ryan does well though, and Parker can seen how good he really is in new equipment.

I respect the decision that Parker made, but Leaving Brad Keselowski Racing, was a bad move, reason why, BKR Has full-time Sponsorship and RHR Doesn't. Plus isn't BKR backed by Penske?

I would say to some degree yea they are, considering Ryan got hired by both. RHR seems to one minute be all great then bail on the driver. How many different drivers have they gone through in last few years, I can name 3-4 with Justin Lofton, Miguel Paludo, John King, and Todd Bodine.

Sponsorship issues is all that is.

Let's play a fun game, create a list of manufacturers that you would like to see run in the Nationwide and Sprint Cup Series, it can be as realistic as you would like. I personally will go for unrealism, expect the list tomorrow

I'd rather have some others come to truck series honestly like Nissan, then we could have battles like Toyota/Nissan Ford/Chevy!

1.Audi (Face it the A6 would be one Bad*** race car)
2.Nissan (The Altima or Maxima would be a good fit for a NSCS car)
3.hyundai (But then again what car could they use for cup? Equus, perhaps?)
4.Mazda (If the RX-8 was still around they could use that as their NNS car)
5.Honda (The Accord would obviously be the choice of car for them, they should have entered the sport years ago.)

You mean Chrysler hasn't been supporting the RAM brand in Trucks?

Yet they have sponsor on the side of the truck! I highly doubt they didn't support them, even if it wasn't like Toyota does. They just were a strongly factory backed team like years ago teams were.

Imagine what a company like Nissan would do for the sport! The Titan would be a perfect fit for TRUCKS. It's big, rugged and almost american like. lol

I guess your missing what I'm even saying, I didn't say factory support as in a factory team. I highly doubt Mopar would put their name on something with sponsorship they didn't have their hand in. It might only be we will give you x amount for sponsorship but it's more than other teams are given by their programs.

You can't believe everything you read either and wasn't that article around the time they had bail-out?
