There's been 5 known incidents of racers colliding with safety trucks in the last 30 years.

I'd say it's "ultra rare". Thousands of races, thousands more race cars. The odds of anything like that happening is extremely low.

Wasn't one of the more recent incidents in Indy Car at Texas?

Woah, I was out since the morning and now back home still not done yet? Now let's let this race go on - if the track is considered raceable.

It is the first 500 started on one day and finished on another!

Sorry for the grammar, but...
Does anyone know if this is correct? It definitely doesn't sound right. I know the rule is if the next word starts with a vowel, you use "an" but if not you use "a." Is this just an exception or does everyone say it the wrong way without ever noticing? Somebody get Famine in here.

A good idea may be to start up a thread : English 101. After that we could meet at a yacht in an hour.

On topic: Landon Cassill. Thoughts?

This is kinda risky... Oh boy.

I hope no one gets hurt. As much as I dislike (Kyle Busch) some drivers, I hope none of them get injured. I love a crash but not one resulting in pain. I'd hate to hit the patch first.

Off topic: That's a good question, I have never seen this before. It sounds funky.. pretty sure everyone says 'a union'. But technically 'an union' should be correct.
AP Stylebook (used in media) a/an is based on what the noun sounds like. In traditional writing formats for things such as literary pieces it is a hard rule based in the actual starting letter.

On topic: I love how whether drivers think it is drivable or not depends on their position.

Would've rather had the commercials during the red flag. There were hardly any then. :banghead: Why?!?!?
