Getting a pole position isn't really proving he still "has it".

Two top 5 finishes in the past two weeks for the number 3.

4 strait top 2 finished for the 22.

Prediction: We have a massive haboob tomorrow that forces the race to be postponed until Monday.

Nah, weather's going to be great tomorrow. 👍

I thought you couldn't pass below the yellow line?

You cannot pass below the double-yellow line like at Daytona and Talladega. Phoenix has a single yellow line.

You are allowed to cut that apron string, but it's not the best line to take - unless you're trying to avoid 3000 lbs of mayhem heading towards you. Getting down on the apron can upset your car: happens even in GT5 - though in other courses it has.

Cutting the apron causes the car to bottom out massively. If you were to attempt to do that every lap, you would eventually destroy your car

Heating/cooling, definitely a factor today. Unless of course it's a caution every fifteen laps.

Anyone got a livestream link?

I was waiting a bit, hoping the listed HD channel on vipbox was gonna show it.

But that channels being very.. british. It's covering golf.

And unsurprisingly, a Tide commercial using footage from the jetdryer incident

5 of us in here now. Beginning game - almost like poker, eh? What's that last hand going to be? Weird new track.

Going from 2nd to 42nd in seconds.

Lol. ALMOST changed one of my fantasy picks to Kahne. Good thing I didn't.

I wonder what is wrong with Bowyers car

And he just said my reasoning. :D
Kasey Kahne used to race outlaw sprint cars.

Kyle in fourth, so he's already smelling blood.

Terrible start of the season for Kahne. 29th at Daytona and likely a 30 something for today.

Sneaky, sneaky Jeff, heh heh. This is a new trend - and Jeff's already trying it out. How much can they use that shortcut?

#78 seems to be going backwards. :(

Yeah, just like last he usually qualified great then he would fall back during the race

Kyle. The villain. Haha.

Right now, I'd say that Kenseth is looking very good. A smooth and unobstrusive game.

He was doing great at the start running in 2nd for quite a while. That pit-stop ruined them.

Cranking it up. Max volume, boys!

Mid-game and Juan is making Gordon jittery. Few hard words there.

Kyle leading.

*sigh* Montoya just needs to go back to F1.
