Pretty low for Kurt. I mean really, what was blocking a car that was right at his quarter panel going to do? if he would have moved up while they were still passing Kyle, then It would have worked and he might have actually won or at least we would have had a very close finish. And to make things worst, he involves cars that had no chance of escaping it (Lagano, Stewart).
 
Stewart had the momentum to win that race. Kurt needs to listen to his spotter more. There's no way his spotter would have told him he was clear to the wall with cars next to him.

Yeah, not exactly a good way to start what could be his last shot(despite what Brad Daugherty may think). Such a shame that two people with a great amount of talent have the maturity of a 10 year old.👎

The only think on SPEED I watch outside of actual racing is Wind Tunnel, the rest sucks.
 
Can't wait for Windtunnel tomorrow night.

First we have to get through the "Daytona 500 caution flags". :lol:

Brad just further convinced me he has no idea what the hell he's talking about when it comes to NASCAR after what he was saying about Kurt. "Why does he need to change?" Really? Did he not pay attention to what happened Kurt or his brother Kyle when neither wanted to change?:dunce:

I honestly doubt Kurt has "changed". His brother I'm not sure, I could easily say the same but from the shootout to today, he's actually done far less of the bone headed driving Kurt is doing.
 
After watching ten times. I blame Kurt Busch. And still I cannot believe how close BK was to taking Buescher out...

Kurt reminds me of the guy who always goes to prison, says he will change when he gets out but doesn't really mean it.

Kyle is the guy who gets out, tries being a constructive person for awhile but eventually slips back into his old ways.
 
I guess if Kurt Busch couldn't win, he wanted to make sure nobody else did. 👎 I don't see Kurt lasting the whole season with James Finch. Both of the Busch brothers are great race car drivers, but are complete and flaming idiots.

Finch said that he has an agreement where Kurt cannot be sacked and he cannot leave... he said if there were any issues they'd fight :lol:
 
Kyle has changed, he slips, but I atleast have been liking him way more than some years ago.
I feel bad for him because he had cleared the wreck and could've won it, but Stenhouse hit him in the QP, making him go hard in the wall.

If Kurt were to do something so idiotic that it made Larry the Cable Guy look like a NASA scientist, then I think Finch would consider firing him. :lol:

If they had thrown the caution when they should have, Brad would have won this bish. Freakin' flag people have no idea what they're doing. Fire 'em all! Hire me mofos.

Stewart had that race won. He and Sadler had timed their run to the finish perfectly, I still have no idea what Kurt thought he was going to achieve by moving up the track. :boggled:

I think, we can pretty much expect another wild finish in the 500 tomorrow.
 
Hopefully Kurt isn't in the lead on the last lap. There's a chance no one will win it.

That's if the rain doesn't fall first.

I'm thinking Kurt had no idea Stewert and Sadler were up in the top groove. He was most likely just trying to push closer to Logano and Bayne to slow their momentum, but he didn't know those two had no room to move up the track.

Still.. his spotter should have told him he was 3-wide on the bottom and that the 33 and 2 were coming fast on the high side.

...and that's probably why he made the move. :dunce:
 
Something tells me it will get sorted out tomorrow...

Dude don't say that. If there's any kind of rain delay, I'll most likely miss the finish due to the fact the race starts around 5.00am down here and I've got to leave for work by at least 9. :nervous:
 
Looks like there is a 50% chance of rain all day, hopefully it holds off as Monday looks like it will be about the same.

Even if he knew he was 3 wide, he had to try to slow them down some how. Even if it was miscalculated, we've seen this crap a few times before. Kurt isn't the only one.
 
Every time I see the replay of that last corner crash I cringe when Kyle Busch get's turned head on into the outside wall. That was a hard lick. :sick:
 
Does anyone else think it's funny that NASCAR gave Benny Gordon, the number 24 for his nationwide car?

I had to do a double take, when I first saw it during the race. :lol:
 
There's no significance there. Even when Jeff ran in the old Busch Series, he drove the #1 Ford.

I believe that #1 Baby Ruth Ford was owned by Bill Davis Racing. Jeff did race for him before Hendrick signed him.
