Please let that Caprice rumor come true.

I hope so too. Gordon needs a good looking car to win his 6th title in next year.

You gotta wonder what these cars are going to look like ten years from now though.

I wish they would change the rules further to allow the cars too look even more like the street version. Think about it, if they did, manufacturers would be encouraged even more to develop aero-efficient designs for racing, which would be passed on to the consumer and increase fuel mileage (slightly, but anything helps). Also, people would see a cool car on the track and be able to buy the car.

"What wins on Sunday sells on Monday".

I guess it did seem a little overboard, but given their history together, Jimmy's comments got a laugh out of me. :D

Anyone else get the feeling we're dealing with a 15-year old here?

Are you guys talking about Kurt or Jimmy?

 sorry, couldn't resist. :P

I'm setting the over/under for #48 superfan conversion to 13.5 days.

I'm not trolling, I'm just a huge fan of Wonderboy & Smoke. I'll switch back to the Jeff theme eventually.

Never.

He just wishes that his career went as well as Kurt busch's before he retired. I like Spencer, but sometimes he gets too annoying. Don't you hate it when inferior drivers (Retired or not) talk smack about the good drivers?

Could be worse. :(

Don't worry you're not dealing with any of that, instead your dealing with an overly opinionated 17 year-old.

Just heard that Trevor Bayne found some sponsors so he can race at Bristol this weekend.

*(tries not to explode into excitement.)*

Yes, he was suppose to announce who they were today. Hopefully he can run at least the full season in the Nationwide series.

So NASCAR's going to a place called the Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend. Daytime or nighttime, Bristol is Bristol. Short track insanity guaranteed. Best of luck to all teams this weekend competing at Bristol.

Bristol hasn't been Bristol since they went to progressive banking and introduced bumpers that line up nicely. Passing on the outside? Bumping cars in front of you without spinning them up the banking? That's not Bristol.

Excuse the double post, but it's officially the next day.

Lots of surprises in first practice. #78 sitting nicely in 4th. :)

Qualifying is in 1.5 hours.
