Guys a special treat, not my upload but all NASCAR fans should appreciate this, been looking for a while.

I'm glad I'm not only one that still calls it sears point! Let's hope Marcos can win there and not throw it away.

I really wish they would add Road America to cup schedule, and also take trucks to a road course.

Here's how I see RCR in the next couple of years:
#29 Kevin Harvick
#33 Elliot Sadler
#3 Ausin Dillon
#31 Ty Dillon

And then maybe in the next few years RCR will be in championship winning form again.

As long as Paul Menard's dad is shelling out the big sponsorship dollars, don't expect to see Paul leaving the team. Very few drivers bring guaranteed money in this economy.

I was talking with my friend who work safety and rescue at Road America. According to him, Road America really wants a Cup race there and they are willing to prep the track for it if Nascar says yes.

So there is hope, but right now it's a slight possibility of a definite maybe.

He also mentioned that a RA Cup race may replace Sears Point on the schedule.

I can't see NASCAR loosing Sonoma, got to keep the left coast happy and we are not out there that much as it is, unless there are some kind of financial troubles we are not aware of. I would love RA to get a race though, just make it at the expense of one or the cookie cutters, we have more than enough of those!

I don't see them using the #3 in the Cup series again.

I kinda agree with ice, Burton does nothing anymore and Menard is racing off of daddy's money. Harvick is the only one who does anything. I see Harvick, Austin Dillon, and Sadler in RCR in the near future. As for the 3 car, im not sure if they will use that number because people will complain, but me I would care less.. It's a number.

Replacing Sonoma with Road America is a horrible idea. If anything, RA needs it's own place on the schedule replacing the second race at Michigan.

Michigan is at least somewhat different from the 1.5-mile tracks. Dump a race at a 1.5-mile track first.

I think we are saying the same thing, which is why I mentioned dropping one of the mile and a half cookie cutters for RA. I love Sonoma, it is one of my favorites 👍

Oh, ABSOLUTELY keep Sears Point! Keeping this track keeps the San Francisco market intact. If anything, give the Pacific Northwest some loving by racing at Portland International Raceway or even Pacific Raceways. Maybe even include either of those tracks into the Chase. Then again, the Pacific Northwest needs some sort of home field advantage considering we have racers like Greg Biffle and Kasey Khane among others. I even thought of what it would take for NASCAR's top series to have that solid Pacific Northwest race venue or race in my blog. I know I heard of plans of some 7/8 mile oval to be constructed in Washington or something. Whatever works depends on getting the Portland or Seattle markets intact.

True, no wonder he gets quality rides, despite his lacking talent.

EDIT: It's alittle weird seeing a ford (driven by Boris) being sponsored by Hendrick.

I can guarantee you I've been a Gordon fan for WAY longer than him...

I've been a Gordon fan since I was in my Mother's womb.

Ambrose on Pole. Jeff Gordon starts P2.

Abrose's Fusion is going to be tough to beat, but Gordon will get em.

#24 quickest in practice!

I missed that, he must of posted his fastest lap right after the coverage ended.

going to Road America tomorrow for the race, hopefully Jacques Villeneuve can win this time, I was there in '94 and '95 when he won in Indycars so maybe I will bring him good luck :)

I beg to differ about his talent, and sadler won't be back in cup.

Menard hasn't exactly been in stable teams, but he had run pretty darn good at RCR period. I don't care if dad's money helps him or not, it helps the whole RCR camp to have that flow of cash coming in.

I see their line up at
27 - Menard
29- Harvick
31- Ty
33 - Austin

Anyone watching Nationwide qualifying? Getting good.

Edit: Group 5 now qualifying, or as I call. the Wringers class

Random fact: I call Cole Whitt "Cool Whip" because of the similarities in the driver and product's names.
