Does this mean no Challenger in Nationwide either?

I would get the feeling that unfortunately, thats what it also constitutes. I was so looking forward to finally have the three Way American Musclecar On track battle, but unfortunately thats not gonna happen ever now.

Ralph Gilles was on racehub and he confirmed that they were completely pulling out of the series. No Nationwide or Cup next year.

They left the Truck series a few years ago but a few teams had continued using the Ram, which will change next year as well.

and I think I've going to like seeing a Holden in COT trim :D

As a big time Holden fan for pretty much my entire life, I'm still pinching myself. I can't wait to see how it looks when it's finally unveiled.👍

The fusion does look the best of them all. Just looks like Toyota and Chevy phoned in their designs without really making them look like the street car. Those two look massive as well.

Is it just me or do the two Toyotas and two Chevies look different from each other. I realize the Chevy could just be the different angles, but the Toyota definitely looks different between the two of them.

@R1600: :lol:

Will that really matter given your current postion on NASCAR?

Is it me, or does the SS looks like the current car?

Camoflage and angle is probably throwing you off there. The front end seems more round then the current car, which is sorta square.

As in, not looking similar to each other?

I like the Fusion, that grille reminds me of an Aston-Martin. For me at least, it’s hard to tell what the SS looks like with all that crap on it.

The Camry does look a lot more individualistic than before, which was the whole point.

I think the best part about the new cars was that the Ford and the Dodge have a "WOW" factor, where as the Chevy and the Toyota just look like facia updates. Unfortunately we won't see the Dodge in competition, so the Fusion is the only one that sticks out.

The Fusion seems alot more aggressive then when it was first unvieled.

The Grille indents are pretty much the only parts that can be seen easily but if you've seen the Holden in V8 Supercars, thats basically what it is. I say it looks cool

For years, The Camry has always been meh because it was, to me anyway, just a Chevy without that hood and different decals. Now though, it actually looks like a Camry and actually looks aggressive too. Obviously not old car aggressive, but its a giant leap from "meh" to me.

They're an improvement over the COT, but still look too boxy and not "racey" enough

If its for safety, OK. But part of the COT's boxy shape was supposedly to make it less aero dependent and draft better, which didnt work. Hopefully you can be more aggressive with these new cars. Part of the drivers complaints going from the old car to the new car was you almost had to let the car drive itself through the corners, you couldn't be aggressive with it. Thats one of the many things that has hurt the racing.

Ah, thanks. Yes, I’m very used to the Holden in V8 Supercars. The Impala’s front always looked horrible to me.

Should be interested how the racing turns out, considering how the drivers will adapt to the new cars.

Apparently someone died in the stands at Pocono, lighting struck the stands shortly after the race was rain delayed... Was this already discussed..?
