The oil on the track really explains why everyone started to lose it. Also got to say Keslowski summed it up perfectly with the last lap battle against Ambrose. Awesome race to the last corner.

Gordon still has a shot to make the chase, he just needs to shake the next wave of bad luck off of his back.

tough luck for gordon but brad might have saved him from being all but eliminated. Now gordon doesnt have to get another win (for now). Only 10 points behind newman who also only has 1 win

I think its safe to say the top 3 had this thought on the final lap:

Oh 🤬!!

He just needs to be more consistent then Newman that's all.

"u...uh yeah uh.. there was o...oil everywhere... i..it sucked.

c....can i s...start over?"

-Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Both Kyle and Ryan have a win and are ahead of Jeff.

Yes, but it's very close. Any of those 3 could get that final spot.

I only caught the final 3 laps of the race, I'm guessing that's all I needed to see with how amazing the finish was.

An oily racetrack is unacceptable.

Yeah, they should have called a red flag to clean the track up. Would have been better that way (other than the fact that Kyle Busch may have won).

Lots of drivers not pleased that NASCAR didn't throw the caution for the oil. I probably wouldn't be happy if I was on track.

As a fan, though, thanks 47! Check's in the mail. :sly:

It sure made for a good race. I bet the 47s will be getting some" thank you" letters from Australia.

At first I thought all of the top 3 had forgotten how to drive.

Best finish I'v seen in years though.

So Johnson is in the lead, huh?

"We would like to announce that this season will have been cut short. Jimmie Johnson is your 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup champion."

He only has a 1 point lead... suddenly that 25 point penalty that was taken away would make a difference for Jimmie. Previously in the season it would have made no difference as the driver he was ahead of was more than 25 points behind him.

To quote the late Benny Parsons

"They really are in the grass!"

Any Ambrose win is a good win
