Another 51 bites the dust! Another car done, another car done...

How much longer can Finch afford having his car trashed every other week?

Wow I feel absolutely gutted for Mark Martin. Had the car to beat and got taken out. That was one hell of a close call. That looked scary, if that was a foot closer to the front that would have been a real nasty scenario.

If Mark Martin didn't have bad luck in NASCAR, he would have none at all. Maybe that crash will be a slap in the face to remind NASCAR and the track owners to put barriers at the ends of the inside pit wall like they have on the outside..... Back to the race, it sucked as most races have in 2012, but at least Jimmie Johnson didn't win. 👍

Pretty good race, IMO. Happy for the Bif.

I admit I LOL'd when Johnson's engine went Kablooey.

Bristol should be good, with that one groove and all.

Hopefully it'll bring back that rough element Bristol became famous for (NO, I'M NOT IN IT FOR WRECKS. DON'T SAY A WORD.), not this artificial racing garbage we've had since 2007.

As for today's race. As a fan of HMS and SHR, and a hater of RFR, that couldn't have been worse.

Kinda feel bad for Johnson, but I laughed when he blew up. Also I'm happy Mark didn't hit the wall harder because that would have played out different. Oh congrats to The Biff too!
Edit: I did fall asleep for a few laps, but race wasn't boring i was tired.

Funny how it's better to listen to the race on MRN than to watch it on TV.

Sucks that Gordon's bad luck is continuing. Thing is, he likely wouldn't have won anyways, so it really didn't matter if he finished 2nd or 43rd. Though this puts him out of the Wild Card points race, he can still pick up a win and make the chase (though I heavily doubt it).

Also, about the Montreal race, I have two words to say:

Jercques Villeneuve.

Congratulations to all winners from this weekend's big races...

* Nelson Piquet Jr. at Michigan (Trucks)
* Justin Allgaier at Montreal (Nationwide)
* Greg Biffle at Michigan (Cup)

I am very pleased Mark Martin as able to get out cleanly after that brutal wreck he had. While I am not excited about seeing nothing but crashes, it is a testament as to the level of safety provided by these stock cars. Besides these elements, I'm sad for my boy Jeff Gordon and my girl Danica Patrick for their respective rough weekends. That jackass who still threw that shoe out on the track should be banned for life from any race track. Did someone in the crowd hated so bad to see somebody win or lead (let alone Danica) that somebody wanted to directly affect the race in this way?

Bring on Bristol (night race)! Trucks on Wednesday night, Nationwide on Friday night, and Cup on Saturday night.

I can't wait for Bristol. Trucks are always good as long as Kyle is not racing. Nationwide, Maybe Sadler can sweep the races this year. Cup, Wild card battle is going to be insane. People wrecking each other for wins or points.

If Bristol goes back to one groove then it should be an exciting weekend.

Moving on to the free agents next year. Although I would like to see Logano in a Penske Ford next season, It's becoming more and more apparent that Matt Kenseth will move on to JGR and drive the #20 car. But it looks like things are shaping up to be that way.
