That seems to be conflicting with what EA said, though. It's probably best to wait and see.So we don't actually need an internet connection to play the main game? Thank god.

Maybe EA changed their mind? Perhaps? That seems to be conflicting with what EA said, though. It's probably best to wait and see.
Well, they did remove SimCity's DRM (eventually), so it's certainly possible.Maybe EA changed their mind? Perhaps?
I won't be expecting offline play unless EA/Ghost themselves say it though.Well, they did remove SimCity's DRM (eventually), so it's certainly possible.
All of that is just exaggerated speculation with very little to support it. Quit complaining about something that hasn't happened yet.
Hey that doesn't sound too bad. I don't know if they had this already planned at the start or they are doing it now because of high demand but now that it's settle, we can now just sit and relax and be grateful they are doing this.Hm...
So, online is just recommended?
But NFS MW 12 had the R34 as DLC, how can I not use it as an example to help Jason out? That is very unlikely to happen. You can't really use a game like MFSMW as an example since its focused on newer, higher-end cars.
Because the slowest car in MW12 was a Focus RS500. MW12 was based around the high end cars. This is based around lower end cars (as low end as a 240SX S13). The R34 was only DLC because it was the cover car (and boss car) of Underground.Hey that doesn't sound too bad. You're clutching at straws. Just because a car is DLC in one game doesn't mean it'll be DLC in another game (and vice versa). But NFS MW 12 had the R34 as DLC, how can I not use it as an example to help Jason out?

Here, you dropped these:Developers and publishers know that we want the r-34 so you know what they do they make us buy it, just like the original most wanted m3 on criterion most wanted.i remember when criterion was promoting the game i spotted the car in one of their promo screenshots on Facebook, i got hyped to see this car brought to the next gen when i got the game the car was nowhere to be found until they release a DLC so the car was originally in the game from the get go but it was hidden and lock for a DLC its all apart of making profit and sadly this is the future of gaming.
The M3 was only visible in one shot, was never shown explicitly, and was never mentioned at all on the car list. That should be your first clue that something isn't normal about this car.i remember when criterion was promoting the game i spotted the car in one of their promo screenshots on Facebook, i got hyped to see this car brought to the next gen when i got the game the car was nowhere to be found
If by "originally in the game" you mean on a developer console which has access to content well before release, then yes, you are correct. Also, would it kill you to write a paragraph properly?so the car was originally in the game from the get go but it was hidden and lock for a DLC its all apart of making profit
I won't be that pessimistic, but no way is it going to be as good as the games in the series' glory days (2003-2006, 2009-2010). It's simply the way games work now, microtransactions, excessive paid DLC, constant online DRM, and too much focus on online multiplayer in general IMO.Why do I have a feeling that this will be more like a crash and BSOD than a "reboot"?
So it's too much to think that because a car was shown during development, that its not to far off to assume that the car would have been in the game at launch? I'm not seeing what's wrong with thinking that. If it was shown, then that's a fault on the developer, as things like that should be held back if they aren't going to be part of the vanilla game. If it was an oversight, it is still something on the developers end to clear up, before the game is released. The M3 was only visible in one shot, was never shown explicitly, and was never mentioned at all on the car list. It should be noted that they had almost a full trailer long footage of the Hummer H1, and yet it never even arrived to the console/PC version of game, which makes the one pic that was likely not even meant to be released, somewhat less notable. The M3 was only visible in one shot, was never shown explicitly, and was never mentioned at all on the car list. I'm just saying that you should be able to figure out that something about the M3 was different from the rest of the cars. Yes, it's disappointing for it to not be in the vanilla game, but the secretive nature of it is still worth taking note of.So it's too much to think that because a car was shown during development, that its not to far off to assume that the car would have been in the game at launch? I know what you said, that's why I replied to it. As I said earlier:NA1 NSX and 2003 CLK AMG? Hell yes!
Don't get too hyped up.This could just be a slideshow with random examples that just shows what the customization could be like. Or, it could be confirming a Liberty Walk 458, Liberty Walk CLK, and some other cool stuff.
That's just a bunch of pictures put together for the sake of research and inspiration. It has nothing to do with the final game.NA1 NSX and 2003 CLK AMG? Hell yes!
Be hyped.

Not sure I'd like ricing up a NSX or a 458 (or maybe a LW 458 isn't too bad) a Datsun Z is a hell yeah though![]()
Right here, right here!I believe you are looking at it the wrong way with your "ricing" comment. Now while you may not want to do that to a Ferrari, someone out there will. This game seems to be doing everything right when it comes to customization in allowing someone to take a Datsun (for example) and "making it yours".
