No offense, but I believe you are in the minority. I have about 150 +/- friends on between both consoles and only a hand full of them have kept their older consoles. Why? Most have traded in the old and moved on to the newest and greatest adventures.
Anecdotal evidence ain't going to cut it. Just because you and your buddies move onto the next new thing doesn't mean that it's justified.

Not to mention their latest PR piece couldn't be more obvious - DRM for no good reason, besides absolute control over the game, deciding how and when you should play it. But hey, I'm sure the benefits are nice.

Truth be told, no, the original vision of the XB1 didn't bother me, just the price.. I don't hold on to games (minus GT) and consoles because I like what is new and improved

That is a real car.

It is not rendered in the game.

When I see it rendered in the game my opinion will change.
But they still got a 1969 Mustang to put in that very trailer which leads me to believe that it is possible it could be put into NFS15

Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012) had a Porsche 997 Carrera, Audi R8 4.2, Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, and a Bugatti Veyron 16.4.

Oh wait, it didn't.

Nothing is ideal for you. :sly:

I don't trounce every game ya know, but there is nothing wrong with being highly critical of a game EA have screwed up countless times after Carbon. Forza 6, is ideal for me, hell, Juiced 2 was ideal for me too but shame the physics were borky, Blur never really stood out and since the it was Horizon 1 and 2 and nothing since/between.

In the end, it's still a glorified rental. You have zero ownership of the game and are at all times reliant on Sony, Microsoft, your ISP and in this case; EA. Have fun replaying your paperweight in 5 (if not less) - 10 years when the game and its servers are no longer seen as viable.

;)
That's not how I see it but everyone is entitled to his opinion. I don't generally keep my games for that long (there's exceptions however), I complete the main part then I focus on everything that the game has to offer, if there's no more post game content or anything to keep me playing it, I sell the game to get a new one.

Who is comparing this game to Forza, Blur and Juiced... Just you. You seem very picky and if a game was perfect for you, it would be you making it.

You just proved your self wrong besides the Veyron, 1 in 4, good effort though...
Hence why I said best versions of the cars. Who would want a Superleggera when there is a Spyder Performante and the R8 4.2 over a GT Spyder.

Did anyone actually get the point I was making or?
Jason raises the point of a 1969 Mustang... he didn't mention what version but a possibility being incorporated into the game because it was in a trailer.

You mention cars like the Veyron, Gallardo and R8 not being in the NFS Most Wanted game as they were in the trailer but they were actually are in the game but in their peak versions.

So no, what is your point?

Didn't they mention that new Frostbite tech let them render cars within live action cutscenes to make the transitions seamless? This could very well mean Block's mustang is a machine in-game.

There are models of car that feature in trailers that are not in the final game itself, was that not obvious enough?

All I hear is hsssssssssssssssss static from people that don't get my point, I am not comparing, I was answering you with what for me, is "Ideal" and what for me are "trusted developers" until some of those phased out. Not picky at all, just dislike EA and EA like decisions like always online, poor car lists, no MT and not answering questions and no official forums to discuss their games because they have always been afraid of the backlash. Those are my only points. Please adjust your set, the white noise is persistent.

They have yet to confirm that you will definitely need Internet to play the game.

Poor car lists? Again the car list hasn't been confirmed.

You may want to look on their Twitter page and see how many questions they have answered.

They don't have a official forum because clearly people like as you said don't like EA and so you are going to bias and start slamming their game for any reason.

In the end no matter what happens huge amounts people are going to buy this game and we could see that this game will be a top seller for November and it is down to EA tactics of causing hysteria and controversy.

It doubles the speed the game runs at.

Looks really funny:
Language warning. (Maybe)

This was before they figured out how to do it properly, you can now lock the frame rate AND the sim rate to a specific speed to avoid this issue. The only problem is if your PC drops from 60 to 59 fps the whole game will also slow down by the same amount. So it's not ideal but it's better than playing at 30fps.

Weren't some games capped at 30 FPS to ensure that the game could stay stable and go at consistent frame rates?

I'm sure seeing how this game is a driving game, it's a fair bet that things will be flying by in-and-out on screen at a fast pace. I'm sure some gaming computers others have, like me and my laptop, would struggle a tad bit in trying to get 60 fps off a game like that.

Not that I'm against having an option to increase or decrease the fps cap, but just wanting to share my thoughts on fps caps.

I'm sure this was a tad bit off topic.

Yeah that's why it's capped to 30 on consoles, but that is no excuse to cap it on PC. By all means include a v-sync option with 60/30fps caps but give us the option to turn it off if we want.

And this is very much on topic, this is one of the burning questions people want answered along with the manual transmission and always online thing.

Watching BlackPanthaa's new NFS video about new cars I noticed something. This is the original, because its probably better quality.

Pause the video on 0:38 and then slowly play it. Second car on the TV screen, behind an E30, does it look like a GTR to you?
It has that long GTR headlights and rear wing that looks really similar to RB wing for the GTR.

Except, it was a 991 in the trailer(Clearly 991 taillights at 1:32), the Superleggera was also in MW and we got the V10 R8 and SuperSport Veyron which are the best versions.

What they should do is have an option to lock the frame rate to 30, 60 or 120 in the options menu, only game I know of that has anything close to this is Infamous Second Son, which is a PS4 exclusive.

the best versions.

This is the problem which no-one seems to understand. Those specific models in the trailer were not featured in the game, and that is final.

Confirming the Boss Mustang because it was in a trailer is foolhardy. Chances are we will get another Mustang cough '65 cough but not the Boss.

Correction, my bad.

Are unable to keep consistency at 30. So like I said in a previous post, if they bumped it up to 40, and what my point abouter "Leverage" being, was that if it was bumped higher, it would matter much lesss to the human eye if it the FPS dropped by as much as 5 or 6 FPS. AS LONG AS as it was still about 30.

Hence my point about 60FPS games than drop to 50, you notice it a hell of a lot less, if at all, than you do if a games drops from 30 to 27 or 28. That was my points, sorry for confusion.
You will get stutters, tearing, and all kinds of things. When something breaks from its natural state, whether it be 30FPS or 60FPS it is noticeable all the same. Being at 45FPS and fluctuating by 5-6 Frames doesn't mean that it'll still look smoother then a game locked at 30fps.

Bumping it up to 45 also is going to be taking more resources that could be used for other useful things. A locked 30 would do fine.

I'm also going to have to call that you cant notice a drop of 12 FPS off of a 60 FPS game. Thats almost a 25% framerate drop, and if you can't see that then I'm not sure how much we should be reading into your comments. It's just sounds like you're over exaggerating.

You responded to this.

Jason didn't mention a Boss and use the word possible in raising point of that a 1969 mustang may be in it because it is in a trailer. So stop putting words in people's mouths.

I'm pretty sure judging from what I have seen and read, this game takes a crapton of resources.

You responded to this.

I thought he did mention the Boss?
