Jason didn't mention a Boss and use the word possible in raising point of that a 1969 mustang may be in it because it is in a trailer. So stop putting words in people's mouths.
lol
Looks like a Boss 302 to me:

The way NFS's social people are replying to these tweets make it sound like all the cars in the cut scenes are in the game. I do hope they're not joking about it.
Well it all just seems purposely vague, so I'd keep an eye out. The guy didn't really ask a question, more so said he just saw a Mustang. Which they just affirmed, that he saw a Mustang.

Although this is true, but they're definitely insinuating that it'll be in the game. If they're not, the community will definitely have an uproar, especially when they replied to this.

I agree. Just going off of what people said have been done in the past concerning cars being in trailers, it would be smart not to get too optimistic.

That is definitely an s2k, headlights and the long nose are a dead giveaway. Maybe Honda wants a little surprise. It would make sense since honda doesnt have these cars in production anymore so they dont have to worry about anybody financing them and then wrecking them. That's the only reason I can think of but it's awesome nonetheless! Definitely gonna put that in my garage!
That's really funny because Honda no longer wanted to get involved into any illegal street racing stuff. Any clue on why honda are doing this again? I know this game is going to focus on car tuning culture though just want to point this out.

As far as I'm aware all of these cut scenes have CG cars, made to look like real cars that blend in with the cinematic story scenes in the game.

I'm thinking the opposite, for the most part.

Either way, that doesn't take away from my point.

Someone is already mad.One of the ops of the need for speed Reddit forum called out the community manager about the lack of new information and the constant rehashing of the same screenshots, trailers and people asking the same questions and I'm glad someone called them out on that because honestly its becoming annoying and frustrating and the answers is always gameplay this week the community capture a lot of gameplay..my question is what are they exactly hiding?

here is the thread:

They have already said that the cut scenes feature CG cars, and that scene with the M3 and Mustang doesn't look like real cars to me.

That's why I said for the most part. Some would be, and some wouldn't be. Featuring something doesn't mean the scenes are made entirely from it.

Otherwise, why wouldn't this pre production photo show both cars as blue mesh?

Like I said, it still doesn't take away from the point I was making.

Yeah that S15 is real, speaking of which I noticed that it has an engine swap. Nissan fans should notice it has an RB motor so I wonder if this is a hint to engine swaps being a possibility. Either that or just an oversight from the people who chose that car for this scene.

Yeah, so its probably split-off between CGI and actual cars.

You can see that from the picture? I can't make out any engine from my computer. Swaps would be great, but I wonder if cross manufacturer swaps would be available? That's a licensing issue.

You can see in this shot the typical intake layout of the RB20/RB25 where the piping crosses over the engine. Engine swaps are very common these days so it would be a shame if they didn't include it. Forza does it so I don't see why NFS can't.

Also noticed this shot of what is clearly R32 tail lights in the background.

Forza has generic V8, I4, I6, V6(ect..) swaps that are unlabled and while they resemble stats from specific engines, they are not written as such. If they take that approach then I don't see why not. Don't expect to even see the engines, though.

Could be a R32, but also a 180SX. I think R32 has more space between the circles for small square reverse? lights.

Maybe, although 180sx tail lights also have a bigger gap between the lights so that's probably just some inaccurate modelling by the devs. Also 180sx tail lights aren't as symmetrical as r32 lights, the inner ones are set slightly higher than the outer ones.

Also on a side note I think the car people thought was a Mk1 golf and then the devs said no might be a Mk1 escort, very similar front end and fits the other shots of it better as well.

Can't see a reason why it wouldn't, or at least a similar model wouldn't be in actual gameplay. They seem to be drawing a decent amount of attention to them.

What exactly are you referring to?

I honestly think it doesn't look like either.
