Still 2 months til release and 35 cars have been revealed. 50-70 cars seems very likely for this game.

This looks interesting. . .

And now I'm hoping for Ghost Games to take off the 5-car garage limit. Too many awesome cars to pass on, I frankly think that this limitation is BS. That's really the biggest gripe I have with this game (including, obviously, no manual transmission, but that's another story).

It is restrictive but I've got my garage pretty much sorted now.

I'm jealous you already have it all sorted out. Days go by, more cars are getting revealed, and I'm getting more and more spoilt for choice.
I'm tempted to swap out my Evo for an R35 but am unsure. If something really awesome is revealed i may swap out my Evo or Mazda. I also have different roles for my cars to

GT-R: Racing
RX-7: Drifting
Evo: Racing & Drifting
Challenger: Cruising & Cop chases
M3 GTR*: Everything

Yes, I just decided my Supra will be replaced by M3 GTR, but only when I unlock it.

They really need to allow you to own more than 5 cars. There's so many appealing options; too hard to narrow it down to just 5.
True. NFSU2 worked because there was only a few good options late in the game but with this, almost every car is highly desirable in the game and all have huge customization so it would be nice if we had something closer to 20 or 30 slots.

The garage slot limit in Underground 2 was less of an issue since you had a seperate garage for quick race mode with far more slots. Now a decent solution for NFS 2015 would be to have another less restrictive garage for online racing and/or quick race mode but seeing as career is seamlessly integrated with online, I doubt that will be the case.

I'm okay with it, I wouldn't mind no limit, but at least we can sell cars. To be honest, we haven't tried the game yet, so we can't really judge the garage limit. We'll have to see.

EDIT: Actually, thinking about the cars in the game, the 240Z, the R35, R34, Evo 8, the Hakosuka, I can see why it's a bit of a problem. Maybe they should let us have either more slots or a free garage after you finish the game?

OR, do a TDU thing were EACH GARAGE you own stores 5 cars. There would be 5 garages that you could buy around the city after completing the games "tutorial" (if it has one) and they would cost $50,000 each. Each garage would store 5 cars letting you have a maximum of 25 cars in your garage. Each garage would, of course, have the exact same interior look to it.

Bear in mind this is GTPlanet, we are not used to such small garage spaces...

People were going nuts over a 500 car limit in GT6 and you expect us to be content with 1% of that? :sly:

Bear in mind this aint GT so don't expect people to make carbon copies (not you specifically but those really that distraught). I've played GT myself from game 1 but I still differentiate the fact that this is NFS and that's exactly why I want to play it and own this cause it's a different racer than others out there.

Yes! I forgot about that, and I love the TDU series. I had a Vanquish in the original, and I used to cruise around Hawaii for hours on end.

EDIT: I just realised I triple posted... Allow me to clean this up.

I'm still holding out hope that they have the AE86 in the game. I want to go drifting up in the mountains alongside a yellow FD, and maybe a white FC if they have it in the game.

Something that would be awesome is something NBA is doing with 2K16, you can customise your personal court with MyCourt, you can see all of your shoes, trophies, jerseys and everything you've accumulated over your career, it's pretty cool.

EDIT 2: Done.

Regarding the garage limit, Ive been trying to narrow down my final choices to include a little bit of everything. (One tuner car, one muscle car, one supercar, etc.)

Until we see how things play out, it seems the only way to have more than 5 cars is to create multiple accounts on your Xbox/PS4, which would be a pain...

If I have one complaint about this game, this is it. I can honestly see myself building and test driving each one of these cars.
Agreed. This game is looking more & more appealing to me, but until that is corrected, I won't be picking the game up at release or any time soon after. That's kind of a kick in the manhood to offer so many appealing cars with in-depth customization & then say, "Pick 5".

I remember some previous titles had the option at the main menu to customize cars for quick race. That is something that needs to be reintroduced if it hasnt been already.

The 5 car limit means 5 at once not choose 5 and that's it forever. It will take ages to even get 5 cars apparently but once we do and we want a different car then we will just have to sell one. Owning every car in the game at once would be boring and would ruin the sense of ownership and attachment to the cars. Selling a favourite car will be sad but we can always buy it again later if we want.

What if you have more than 5 favourite cars? That's the kicker. Having to remove one of your favourite cars for another favourite car equates to that of a punch to the D.
