52 cars is a lot of cars if you stop to look at it.

UG1 had only 20 cars
UG2 had only 31 cars counting the two cars that were exclusive to europe (106 and Corsa)
MW had only 37 cars counting the bonus ones that you couldn't use in career (Stock M3, Camaro, 911 GT2, C6 R, SL 65)

I know these are old games so is acceptable to have few cars, but at the same time we all been able to enjoy those games and they were very remarkable even having small car lists.
Quantity does not overcome quality, Gran Turismo is the greatest example of this, where you got over 1000 cars and the game still feels bland.

Yeah, but this is a reboot. A game burdened with the task of bringing NFS back to its glory days. I don't think that, in general, expecting more from Ghost was too far fetched. Or maybe it was. Because, well.. EA.

Well this still has way more cars than any NFS before it (AFAIK) and I expect them to add more by way of DLC.

I always manage to forget about those 5 car slots, which in relative to the car list size, makes a little more sense (or vice versa)... But I wanted a stanced 350z, dammit!

If cars were uncustomizable yes 52 cars wouldnt enough . But they are deeply (like we newer seen before) customizable . So its a good list if you ask me . And they said something like "we r gonna release free contents in future" . Maybe they add 3 or more cars in future for free and list would become even more awesome .

Honestly having no manual transmission doesn't bother me as I always use automatic transmission and I don't mind if a game has manual transmission or not since I've been using automatic since the days I started playing racing games.

But guys, if your complaining about the game not having manual transmission, then it sounds like you just recently heard about it from someone who knows about there being no manual transmission on NFS 2015 just now. I've known this and I've been keeping a watchful eye on the news about this game.

I thought we were talking about the car list lol...

The best part is that it mirrors the car count of some of the games of the 'glory days' (2003-2006).
That's not really a situation to be praising, lol.

Either way, I don't really mind the smaller list.

That's one of the reasons I am content with the car list. We don't know what is coming our way!

Free you mean, since the FAQ states that there are no MT or DLC

They said they plan on free content updates and have no current plans for paid DLC. That doesn't mean there won't be any paid DLC that just means they haven't announced it yet.

If this game had more than 100 cars then the garage space won't suffice:lol:
The game has plenty of cars, considering how much you can customise them. I can't wait the to play the full game (as I've said multiple times here, correct me if I'm wrong) and live my automotive dreams. At least in virtual world.

"we r gonna release free contents in future"
Just to clarify, so people don't get their hopes up, EA NEVER said they would release free DLC. They said they "currently" have no plans for PAID DLC and will release free updates (Which every game has anyway). They could release some free DLC via updates like GTAV but they could just not bother with DLC at all. So don't get your hopes up about free DLC.

That's why I'm saying as we know of for now stuff that comes is free, updates is Download content in the simplest sense of the phrase, just not paid download content. So from what the FAQ says as of now stuff will be free, if they plan to make us pay in the future then we'll see, EA may be on a new path as said earlier in the thread due to a new "leader" but you could very well be right. I just don't want to be a cynic this time around because usually EA wouldn't even go as far to say no MT but they did this time.

I'm sure like PD I'll be let down.

They said the same lies about the new Battlefront game claiming they had no plans for paid DLC and then just last week they announced the "season pass" for $50 or whatever it was with 4 DLC packs. NFS Rivals had multiple DLC packs with around 5 cars in each one there's no way EA will pass up the opportunity to milk us for more $$$ with this title given the hype around it.

While I agree with you on BF, Rivals was still much apart of the first day paid-dlc and micro transactions. We'll see if EA is really going in a new direction. I feel that having having No Limits helps mitigate paid dlc for this game, but we'll see.
