Game just frooze. Had to restart the PS3 and now I have to start over again, just when I had all the cars :(
 
It frooze after a race restart. Could still quit the game and immediately restarted it.
During loading some origin error came on and PS3 didn't respond to anything. So restarted the PS3.

Turned on the game again and the introduction started playing...

My records and points are all still there, as that's being kept on the origin servers, but all my singleplayer unlocks are gone.
 
The freezing after a restart happens all the time for me, but I haven't lost my game memory from it yet.

Sucks, man.

What a bummer, DD. I've had the game freeze on me several times and the only way to resolve it was to restart the console. Luckily all my progress has been intact so far. I'll be keeping a back-up save, incase.

Most games now have countermeasures for freezing on saving/loading. Half the time I turn off the system when it's saving but the game doesn't let it shut down until it's done saving.
 
So I see Xbox finally started slapping their logo on this game's commercials. Guess Horizon was a flop? :lol:

I also just notice in this new commercial cars in colors that aren't in the game. The Camaro was in metallic lime green which is absent in the game. Also a lot of the license plates show the same like the Agera in orange & yellow plus the Camaro in black.

Patch or DLC incoming? (Hoping the former rather than the latter...)

Also, has anyone else noticed speedwall times that are simply not believable?
Like a 3-lap circuit time that's like half what mine is. I mean I know I'm not the absolute best, but I'm pretty darned good. A time of 1:34.xx when I just got a clean run in (finally) that was over 2:45 just doesn't seem possible... let alone it listing a completely stocked out car. Does someone know about an exploit to allow this?
 
Unlocked all the most wanted cars again. Started by unlocking the Koenigsegg.
Then I used that car to improve all my times in the most wanted races :p

I have to say, Horizon was a major disappointment to me. I spent 90% of my summer obsessing about it, and when I got it, I was "Meh".

I was trying to avoid NFS: MW honestly, but I love it much more than Horizon.

Also, to those wondering about the lack of a photo mode:

I was browsing through the "My Pictures" part of my computer, and strangely enough, there were "DreamShot" and "Snapshot" folders in it for the game.

Maybe added as a patch?

To be honest. I did have fun with Horizon, but after beating the whole game there was nothing else to do in it, thus I ended up getting bored with it.

NFS MW 2012 however, easily grabbed my attention and I simply adore it, while Horizon is just collecting dust...

So there was an possibility to take photos in NFS MW. The game's environment is really stunning, especially at the cherry blossom area. So I really hope they added it in through a patch. Thank you for finding that out. :D

Are you using an inferior car? Some races pit slow cars against the Agera...

I don't recall which race this was, but I think here's why I can't find it.
Interesting thing, the race Crush Hour was showing a similar speedwall (best time was 1:23.xx) and I did my best run so far and the 1:23 time updated to 1:55.55 (best time on my speedwall is 1:53.28) when I got 1:55.10.

So... yeah. Buggy. The person who owns that changed time is in Singapore, so I think there's probably the source of the issue.
 
Or it's just someone hacking the PC version... Whenever I deal with PC games I trust anything that seems slightly fishy.

McLaren F1... just as I wished for...also, woot for another seeing of the Henessey. The top 3 cars now might get their own class.
 
Still feel like $9.99 is asking a bit much for four cars... Although reading the article it does say:

I'd pay $10 for it. It's not cheap, but that's about as much as I've paid for my DLCs for other games as well-HP3, SFIV, BP.
 
Awesome! Looks like I'll be buying my first DLC ever, even though it's a bit pricey in my opinion. I hope they won't take it too far with the DLCs and milk it to the point where it gets absurd. I wonder if we'll see a map expansion as well.
