Anyone else still down? Mine's been down almost all day yesterday and is still down, at the time of writing this. Still undergoing maintenance!

Edit, I'm in the GTA.

I am near Ottawa and it is the same here, down since yesterday around 3h00 PM
 
From PSN forums:
"We will be performing routine maintenance on PSN beginning the morning of Thursday, January 17th. This maintenance will start at approximately 8:00AM PT (9:00AM MT / 10:00AM CT / 11:00 AM ET) and last until around {8:00PM PT (9:00PM MT / 10:00PM CT / 11:00PM ET)} 7:30AM PST on Friday, January 18th."

the part in brackets was crossed out on the PSN announcement
 
Just found this out,

The PlayStation Network maintenance listed for yesterday in North America is extended through to this morning, with no set time given for its completion. Meanwhile, the downtime in Europe is expected to last until 6.30 PM GMT. The downtime was scheduled from 4PM to 4AM GMT in Europe, and from 8AM to 8PM PT in North America.

The @PlayStation account tweeted late last night, "Though estimated to end at 8pm tonight, maintenance has been extended to tomorrow AM. Updates as we get them."

This morning, the @PlayStationEU account announced, "Unfortunately scheduled PSN maintenance has over-run. The service is not expected to return until 18.30GMT. Apologies for the inconvenience."

Update: The completion of PSN maintenance in Europe is now delayed until 10PM GMT. As @PlayStationEU tweets, "Apologies for the inconvenience, but we are now not expecting PSN maintenance to conclude until around 10.00pm GMT."

That sucks for those of you that didn't sign in the certain stupid time frame.

Well i am heading in a lobby to practice for VDC got a few people in a lobby already practicing

Ya, that definitely sucks for those who go to school or have a job. Sony needs to re-think their schedule, this type of thing should be done at night and morning at most, not all day all night.

Was originally not supposed to be that long.

Well i always check the Sony Site see if there are any maintenance schedules every so often. If there is maintenance i leave my ps3 running just with the disc out that night.

But i mean it is only once in a while when they do this it isn't that big of a deal to me anyway
 
That's very unfortunate for those of you who can't log in. 10PM GMT is ridiculous.

I am unaffected it seems, people mentioning maintenance etc I wondered what the fuss was about, but now I understand. I must've been logged in when it started like Lock2Lock has said.
 
Hmmm. I still have connection on my main (GTP_Ir0ha_D95) and my FPS alt (Gen1usRo0k1e), yet the account that my siblings use and my gf's account on my PS3 don't have it.

The PS3 that she has does for all three accounts. Wonder what exactly is up...
 
Yeah I can still access my main account. But if I try my alt, nothing. If I try the PS store it freezes.

Lets hope they find a fix soon.👍

Yeah like i said before out of like eight accounts I have I can only sign into the ones I was online with after like I'd say 11PM to 2am EST last night. Which just happens to be my main and my team account. All others nope.

Same thing happened to a few of my friends.

Another one of my friends I would say he got offline around 11PM EST and he can't get online at all. He only has one account so he is pretty much screwed for now.

Hope this gets fixed for you guys sooner than the now extended time.

I wasn't online at those times - I got off at around 5:30 PM EST. No idea why it's working for me then.

I was on line doing the 400PP World Compact Car Race and i can't log in now. I just get the Maintenance message.

That's a good idea.

It kinda sucks for me because I'm at work all week so the weekends are my only solid time (if I have time) to get on. Good thing is, I get to get some offline things done, tuning etc, I been slacking with it for a while lol. I guess it's not a huge loss.

Edit, still down at time of writing.
