We should probably stop speculating and deriving hidden meanings from things, because what I'm learning is most of the time we're just seeing patterns and anti-patterns that aren't actually there.

Sometimes PD just make weird choices (in this case cutting two separate versions of what is basically the same trailer), I guess, and there was no meaning in the lack of car names or the lack of Le Mans in the preview or anything like that.

Oh really?

Because according to the Suggestions forum right here on GTPlanet, the only official place to request car and track additions for the Gran Turismo franchise, the 963 only has 20 votes, the 9X8 only has 16 votes, the 499P only has 15 votes and the M Hybrid only has 11 votes.

This would mean every single one of these cars are less requested by the Gran Turismo community than cars such as the Innotech Mysterro (22 votes), Fisker Latigo (22 votes), Tatra 613 (23 votes), DeSoto Adventurer (24 votes), Breckland Beira (24 votes) and Yannick Sire Priapism (24 votes). I haven't even heard of any of these cars before.

So I ask you, to whom are these the most requested cars? Because they certainly aren't here on GTPlanet! :D
If my memory doesn't betray me, the suggestions subforum is older than your account, and the novelty of it was actually worn out by the time you joined the forums, measuring how much certain car is requested by the amount of likes a post that came over a decade after a subforum is opened has, is quite the choice

Read the room, see what the people are talking about on Facebook, Twitter, etc. GTPlanet is just one community and not the representation of the whole playerbase

Based on the trailer and screenshots, it looks like the additional livery variants of these cars are nowhere to be seen, likely breaking the trend from the 2016 prototypes and the Toyota GR010 where all other racing number variations from the team/livery represented were included.
Except if you remember the update 1.15 Trailer, the Toyota GR010 ALSO only showed one livery despite featuring both the 7 and 8 liveries in-game from the same year:

Sure there are screenshots shown for both liveries but also worth nothing this update only featured 3 cars and the Toyota was basically the star of the update, something that is completely not the case for update 1.70

Should Pikes Peak ever return to the series given that the Scapes could (or won't) be a huge indication of it, it will make the distinction of the only point-to-point track in the game.

Also, should it ever have Circuit Experience if added, it would be a nightmare to get gold on.

Kind curious as to if with these Hypercars, those WEC display panels will be functional and likewise on the Porsche and Ferrari.

New Pickup Truck race? Hopefully they expand the regulations to allow the Suzuki and the Unimog.
From personal experience driving all these, the Unimog at this point would need the hand of God to have a chance against the Raptor and Tundra. The Jimny would at least have its size be a big help in the corners (Assuming you tune it to have controllable amounts of power).

Be interesting to see the pricing of these Lmdh cars. There are those older ones like the Peugeot 908 and Toyota TS020 Hybrid going for 3,000,000. I hope it won't be like that with these....

Neither of those cars are 3,000,000 Credits, both are at 1,000,000.

As I keep predicting elsewhere, the Ferrari will be 3,000,000 million as is to be expected of a Le Mans Winner in Brand Central (See the 2016 Porsche 919 and 2021 Toyota GR010) while the other 3 are 1,000,000 and the Safety car will have the same 300,000 credit price tag as the standard Road car, Totaling all that to 6,300,000 credits.

Tomorrow is doomsday for a bunch of people here, love it
Calm down lad, no one thinks it’s doomsday, you’re really making things up about people to create an odd tribalist attitude here.

You’ll be bored of these car’s very quickly when the BOP is unbalanced and then there’s a lack of daily races for them of the same grind offline races have been beaten to death.

Soooo… pike peak 2030?! 🤣

Also… new tire stickers?

I don’t remember seeing those in the livery editor.
They could be exclusive to these car though…

Likely exclusive to those three Hypercars as the Ferrari doesn't appear to have those either (Think those weren't in the WEC in real life until 2024)

Don't worry, he doesn't actually play the game so he'll have no idea what the balancing is like.:lol::lol:

Some o'yall be asking Pikes Peak to be added while there's me on the corner waiting for SS5 and SS11 to come back ✌️😭
I mean Pikes Peak would be a paradise for drift drivers yeah but okay.. It's still sprint type of lay-out huh?
Gran Turismo needs more of its OG tracks in the game, even more of city tracks because the game is lacking in this type of courses..
And these tracks won't cause any licensing issues because they ARE properties of Polyphony after all..

As for the update, while i'm disappointed about Sophy being left out.. I'm grateful for Yamauchi-san and PD's staff to add these 4 hypercars, it is the best list of cars added in their game since GTSport (Gr. C - Super GT updates)

We're on the verge for the game to finally have most of up to date racing cars, we just need a couple of GT3 cars, a few Hypercars (now) and recent GT500s.

And i'm pretty sure they have some of them in store for us in the near future 👊😁
If you ask me GT5 is where tracks peaked. Add Tokyo R246 from GT3 and it's perfect. Like if I could get the GT5 + R246 track set with GT7 graphics I would die a happy man.

I forgot Seattle! Can't believe I forgot Seattle?! That track gave me nightmares trying to gold it.

Pikes Peak makes sense as a fixed World Time Attack Time Trial. Something that remains in the Time Trial until Gran Turismo is no more.

Imagine the builds players make to try their hand to be quickest in certain classes of cars. Even for players that just want to have a crack to leave their time and don’t necessarily have friends to compete with. Don’t need to worry about meta cars. There’s no ultimate gold time. No time limit for the event.
