Sunday's stream was compromised by slow load speeds and so-so driving. Back with cleaned ps2 laser and crisper driving, I was able to grab the record with room to spare. You can watch it here:

Congratulations friend on beating the World Record. In my opinion, there should be on this forum a GT speedrunning thread. From the GTPlanet community many people may be interested on speedrunning their favourite Gran Turismo games. Im sure that if many GT players get introduced to speedruns they will get better all those records.

There are some people who speedrun GT games, they are @DragoonClawNZ, @thefanman, and @TumeK5 (IIRC). There might be others too, but I don't speedrun.

Poor @TheBook, he had the record prior and gets no mention love. Can't remember if Ninja has an account here or not but yeah, this is top of the leaderboard so everybody who wants to know, does! http://www.speedrun.com/granturismo#Arcade

I keep considering whether to put an attempt up but I don't have much affinity for GT1 unlike 2 & 3 even though I had it as a kid.
