new bgm any good?

havnt had time to race yet only just got back from work, Ive got a download on the go. Anybody think the tracks are good?

The music in GT5 is some of the best around! PD must be commended for choosing such a pleasurable musical playlist! Much better than that guitar whack, or some 'half-arsed' Trance/Drum n Bass/Rap nonsense.

it took a while for me the soundtrack to grow on me, but I thoroughly enjoy it now. If the new tunes are in the same vein, then +1 to PD!

the new music sounds like the other gran turismo 5 prologue songs. the song for the lobby is this saxaphone thing now. you can always just turn off the game music and blast stuff from your computer or just listen to that sweet sexy ferrari f1 car.

I think I heard one new song while racing, it sounded kinda like pop. No lyrics to it. Didn't exactly wow me, but it wasn't bad either.

Blasting music from the comp with engines sounds of gt5 for me... game music some how always does not work 💡 in game mp3 player next update?

The weezer remix is now race music, and also theres that song from that wii commercial, that i absolutely hate. GT never had good music imo, its just a bonus if it did. hopefully we will be able to add our own music soon.

Now the game is updated, i actually think the music goes good for the game. better then it was.

i love the new tracks, I even noticed one from that ElectroStation from GTA4 very kwl song to race too, The new Weezer one is good too i like the frantic one from the orginal NSTC version but both are good. Good variety Of Indie Tracks and Jazz and layed back stuff i think lol

didnt they say it was coming with the actuall xmb patch. Not too sure but my guess if they did say it it was most proberly a lie, just like buzz coming trophy ready out of the box

PD, as far as i'm aware didn't say that it was going to be included in the XMB patch. That was just the 2.40 update from Sony. It's up to the developers as to whether they allow you to use your own in game music via the XMB. PD will most likely provide a patch fairly soon to include that feature.
