Also, alot of people wanted helmets in the game. They're just making people's biggest wants available in this game. I don't think they're covering themselves. Plus, noone has complained about not wearing helmets. And plenty of games have Bikes yet you can't wear helmets. Rockstar are just meeting needs.

Yeah, they mentioned helmets AGES ago when they were first going on about new clothes hats etc., they mentioned helmets would also be available.

Ferrari cars are reallz well moddled 👍

Actually I mentioned not long ago that they hadn't touched on this because the game wouldn't run as well.

  • Ice Cube
  • Jay-Z (maybe, he's a bit of a c**k but oh well)
  • LL Cool J
  • MC Ren
  • NAS
  • Notorious B.I.G
  • NWA
  • Outlawz
  • Snoop Dogg
  • Tupac Shakur/Makavelli (he could even have his own station with all the songs he has)
  • Westside Connection
  • Etc.
IMO anyway. I think it has already been confirmed a well-known guy is doing the rap station. Hopefully it'll be rockin'. Well not rockin'...rappin' I suppose.

Today, we can reveal that the actor voicing Carl Johnson in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be none other than Young Maylay, an up-and-coming musician from Los Angeles. Speaking exclusively to Official Playstation 2 Magazine USA, Dan Houser, director of the game described Maylay's voice as "powerful". The same article from the magazine also features an interview with Maylay himself, where he was asked how he came to be involved with the game:

"Actually, it was through DJ Pooh. He's been a producer forever...I was introduced, then the Rockstar family picked me up...I didn't know that Dan was listening, and I guess he was getting the idea about me being the voice right then."

Man, this game gets me so damn excited...I can't sleep at night anymore. This is like the Sims meets grand theft auto. Perfect combination. They also said something about interactivity with some animals....maybe you can have a pet dog, or even ride a horse..This game is such a better sequal to Vice city, this game will certainly dwarf it too.:)
 
who is Young Maylay ive never heard of him and im really up on the rap scene and ive never heard of him hes probly in a smaller rocord label, does anyone know about gas if its been confirmed i forget who mentioned it but the numbers at the gas station are not a part of the picture.
 
Well they did say he is an aspiring artist, so don't expect it to be someone as famous as loyd banks..... :dunce:
 
Yes, what ND4SPD said. Young Maylay is an aspiring artist, and apparantly this game should get him somewhere.

Also, I was thinking about the Gas/Petrol thing the other day. I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed, I just can't remember! :dunce: Oh well, I've had about 3 hours sleep so bare with me here.

Also, to tell you the truth, I spotted that Q&A as a false a mile away. So many questions were just blatantly being "answered", and I know RockStar wouldn't do something like that.
 
Yeah me two, some of the replies are TOTALLY unlike Sam Houser, like that one answer: "You really want to know, don't you?" That's bogus. AAAANYWAY, I hope gas petrol is in. As an option you can TOGGLE ON/OFF, though. I wouldn't want it to be on all the time, especially when I'm just DRIVING. I don't wanna be zippin betweens cars and mad-dogging the police and see my gas needle pointing at the "e", to say" goddammit wtf #)*^&)#^(*!)@(&$ STUPID GAS!!!

still can't get my mind off of that RX7 "XR7" :lol: ......I'm so excited, I can't believe there's still a little less than a month to go before it releases in the US.
 
yah and in that little less than a month i need to save every dim i have i fargot about saving and spent it on super street and other magazines and game rentals.
 
I hope the petrol/gas doesn't run out too easy. But I don't think Rockstar would let that happen to a good feature this time around/

There's also more video's i think theres on just about on every area you can access. The mount chiliad one is the best the graphics are amazing, i suggest if anyone downloads any of the videos its that one.

Okay, I've been looking through the Official San Andreas Website and I just thought I'd help out the other 56K'ers like myself by posting some things off of there. I've been through all of San Fierro:

-- Mount Chiliad is huge. The plane (and possibly helicopter) vertical limit has been raised, and you can now fly higher it seems.
-- The Ammu-Nation guy looks and talks more suited to the role. He also hands the gun to CJ, instead of it appearing in your hands. Great improvement.
-- The Freeway looks cleaner (graphics-wise).
-- There is an RC (Remote Control) Toy Shop. What buying RC toys entails, I don't know. Maybe they will become a part of your inventory. Who knows? (Except Rockstar)
-- There are airports in both Los Santos and San Fierro, meaning that Las Venturas will almost definately have one. This makes me believe city-to-city flights are possible via passenger airlines.
-- Gant Bridge has a Gift Shop and "Boring Museum".
-- In a Pay 'n' Spray video, there is a nice car being chased by the police and possibly another gang or enemy. He drives into Pay 'n' Spray, a realistic spraying sound is triggered and he comes out. The interesting part is that the cops still have their sirens on and by the sound of it seem to still be speeding after you. This could quite possibly mean that the Cops will still try and find you, thus improving on the "flashing stars" system from Vice City. Also, gunshots are still fired at CJ, but this could be another gang or enemy.
-- One thing that excited me was that you can now ship/export vehicles! You will probably make money out of this, too, how much may depend on the car (not confirmed, just guessing, but the exporting is confirmed). This is great for realistic roleplay/"storyline" purposes, as you can steal some cars for someone and ship them off.
-- The Valet sub-missions look great. They stop their vehicle, walk off, and you hop in and drive it to it's designated parking area (this could also prove for some hilarious car-theft). Cars now drive around in the garages, coming in and driving out, and also parking it seems. One thing that caught my attention in this video is that the car screeched inside when turning a sharp corner. They weren't going fast either, but cars do that. The screech sounded very real, too, even the echo did! Also, the handling of the cars have improved it seems, to make it more realistic.
-- There is a big windy, downhill road in San Fierro that could be great for stunts. It also connects to an intersection, where, at the other side is a downhill road that seems fairly nicely sloped. More great chances for stunts and jumps.
-- The Kombi Van is well-done. The engine is bad, it even backfires. It produces a lot of smoke, and the damage looks good.
-- The clothes shops look good. You walk into the change room, select your clothing and walk out styling it. The poorer the clothes shop, the friendlier the people, too.
-- There is a marijuana farm, too: "The Farm".
-- Alex's Hot Dogs is owned by a man that is "believed to have ben a mechanic who once worked with organised crime in Vice City. Constantly stoned." Who could it be? Is this guy "Alex"? Who was a mechanic from Vice City?
-- San Fierro's "Corvin Stadium" is home to the "Sixty-Niners". Sport unknown, but I suspect maybe basketball by the look of the stadium. The team seems to be fairly average.


Also, does anyone know the big deal about that pointy sky-scraper in Downtown San Fierro? They call it "sick" and say the architect needs help. I don't understand.

Listen to the funny comments made on the Police Radio, and look for some wise-cracks in the info about each area.

Also ive gone over the official site myself and agree with the valet mission with the car physics and sound fx being better. Did you also notice the no loading in action when CJ walks into Cluckin bell.
And once again the graphics withh the winged dodo fling over the mountain oh! amazing.
 
I pre - ordered mine yesterday so i cant wait. Looks awesome. I think im going to have to get in on the GTA Community we have going here.
