Hey Jimmy, care to explain to me what the edited version is like? Since you were talking about us Americans getting the un-edited version. Which makes me want the game so much more, no offense to you though.
All the difference is, is that you can't have sex with the prostitutes and limbs don't fall off when you shoot people (in other words, Gore Mode is disabled).
This is a little more on what ND4SPD quoted:
With under a month to go until the worldwide release of GTA: San Andreas, the rating for the Australian version of the game has finally been revealed. The MA 15+ moniker will be present on the cover of all copies sold in the region.
Perhaps more interestingly, however, are the details included with its classification. The Australian Government's Office of Film & Literature Classification's own website gives a little insight into the almost certain censorship of the game. While ESRB (North America) gave the game descriptions of "Intense Violence" and "Strong Language", the Australian version will feature "Medium Level Animated Violence" and "Medium Level Coarse Language".

This is somewhat concerning, but not overly. I doubt anything more than what usually does get cut out, will get cut out. We just have different wording here, and are less strict on what we call the coarse language, violence, etc. The rating doesn't worry me either, and I'm over 16, and it is 15+.
Another question from me..........when San Andreas comes out, I know everyone is going to spend at least one cycle just driving, cruising and exploring. Where will you mostly go, desert, country, or urban? Me, I'll be running through all of it, partly because I think the expressways go through all of it.
I will go everywhere, naturally. I always explore every area. I'll start in Grove Street, then I'll delve into other gang areas like The Ballas, to test out what they do when you come into their turf.
Also, the expressways do go everywhere.
Do you live in New York?
MTV says: "Are you a hard-core Grand Theft Auto addict? Do you dedicate most of your waking hours to the game? Are you counting the days until GTA: San Andreas hits stores in October? If so, then MTV News would like to talk to you for an upcoming special. If youre between the ages of 16 and 25, live within two hours of New York City, and are hooked on GTA,
millard@mtv.com">drop us a line. Please include your name, age, location, a photo of yourself and a few words about your addiction to GTA."

I live in Australia, but I would definately go if I lived there. So anyone in New York from here that likes GTA, go and check that out. Tell us what it's all about.
Also, with the
eXsorbeo, the One Eyed Monster War is pointless. Maybe there is a monster eventually, but I couldn't be bothered waiting around. But browse through the sites.
I'm going to go through all of the downloads tonight. I'll post you some information on them tonight.
Also, from the look of this
West Coast Rap Legends site, it seems there will be real music radio stations (ala Vice City) and fake music radio stations (ala GTA 3).
