New DLC's every two Months, Says Kazunori Yamauchi

I know I'm assuming, but with PD you can't assume a lot. Spec 2.0 was supposed to be huge, yet it was basically some tweaks and a few minor features, which were nice, but they hyped it up so much that when it dropped T10 probably died laughing at what the had to fight with.
So because you got your hopes up too high and got let down you will assume the worst from PD from now on.
PD didnt hype anything. They said what exactly would be included in that update.Every thing else was just speculation and assumptions not on PD's behalf

It looks like all we will get is what we've had in previous GT's that werent included in GT5. So maybe a few more cars that we've missed, and a few tracks. Nothing new.

Although the prospect of being able to fit aftermarket wheels on standard cars is pretty cool......

So they're going to finish what they started and make the other cars RM or as they call it Touring race cars. That's what they really mean when they say DLC every two months.:sly:

Nah I'm sure they'll bring out one or two new cars.
No but seriously I'm glad they're trying.

Here we go again.

Or, you know, the laundry list of reasons that the Spec II silliness simply added onto.

PD didnt hype anything.
Oh.

I was unaware that it was called 1.13 rather than 2.0; that PD didn't play up the patch as being the biggest one for the game that was made based off of fan input; or that it wasn't moved to compete with the Forza release date in an obvious attempt to stem the tide.

They said what exactly would be included in that update.
And then failed to deliver on some of that stuff as well.

Every thing else was just speculation and assumptions not on PD's behalf
And, once again, they made no effort to dissuade said speculation, allowing it to blow up in their face. Because speculation about features is perfectly acceptable when every single patch PD has released has been loaded with secret fixes and upgrades for the game that PD didn't mention that cleaned up more minor problems.

So, you know, maybe PD will take the time with what is supposedly the huge patch dedicated to the fans to take the time to fix all of the dumb little intentional regressions/restrictions GT5 suffers from in comparison to GT4/Prologue. Because, you know, since Spec II mostly added stuff that the game never should have shipped without, they'll fix the more minor problems (improper gauge scaling, Photomode restrictions, lack of B-Spec interval displays, inability to customize HUD, disparity in mode options, AI pool problems in events, incorrect car specifications, glitched Premium interiors, etc.) for the same reason.

Nope.

You have a point. What I'm trying to say is, it's good to dream, but we're dealing with PD. (See what I said above)

2.0 and the patches thereafter were great in my book. It seems your expectations were unrealistic if you were expecting more. How exactly was 2.0 hyped up? I only saw fans go overboard with their fantasies.:)

Users expect an extreme amount of progress to be made with 2.0, as it is the Second Version of GT5 after all...

Skylines suck! Actually, this statement says a lot about my experiences with GT5. In all actuality, I personally love the DLC touring cars, especially the Mazda Roadster TC. But, to me they aren't really touring cars, they're RM cars. Real premium touring cars would be fantastic.

I like PD's idea of TC or RM cars, because we can paint them and can give them different numbers. At really touring cars we can't do that.

All this negativity is really making me not enjoy this site to much.
It's like a bunch of cackaling hens in this thread. I'd rather go listen to my wife. lol

Why even ask that question, we all know what they'll be:

Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline

As for how many - pfffft - who cares, haven't we got enough already..??

Thats bull:censored: and you know it. We got all the original Skylines and their Spec V versions, including some road versions, the GTR + racing cars and special editions.

And no more racing cars please. We already got too much.

Eh, what? There are frankly an absurd number of Skylines in this game! Seriously, for a 'driving' game, it's more than a little biased to region.

Hyped up? It's called Spec 2.0, the second version of GT5, it was supposed to be radical, a slew of new features, but it turned out to be more like GT5 1.5. All it was is a bunch of tweaks and fixes and a few features it should've had in the first place. And it's PD's fault that it got so hyped up, a tweet could've easily been released saying not to get our hopes up.

Nope.

If you didnt enjoy the stuff spec II added thats on you.
They added the main 2 things users were asking for..
I wouldve loved it if all the previous updates included new cars..Then it wouldve made since if it went to 1.13
What exactly from that list didnt they include.
Since when did they or does any dev dissuade speculations unless they were asked in an interview?
Once again your speculations not coming true = PD fault how ?

I'm done with the 1000+ cars, we have enough to the point where I don't even get 2 use most of them. We need real international sponsored tracks from the F1 & MotoGP calender.
MORE TRACKS, MORE TRACKS, MORE TRACKS, please!

more interesting tracks. i would rather 4 tracks and 1 car than the other way around. how about some good street /city tracks that aren't blocked of but there are multiple route. AND WHERE ARE THE POINT TO POINT MOUNTAIN OR ROAD TRACKS.

Also 2012 GTr is a must and Im still waiting for the veyron supersport.

I super agree with this guy, MORE TRACKS!

In the event that they DO release more TC/RM cars... I'd at least like to see some more European/American makes and models balanced throughout the group. The last batch being filled with a car from every Japanese make with the Challenger being an afterthought wasn't much of a comfort.

Hopefully, the tracks (if they offer tracks) that become up for grabs truly make it an ideal sell on the DLC (Instead of having another kart track, why not include Twin Ring Motegi and Midfield Raceway?)

New DLC every 2 months? Highly doubt that. Kaz, for the most part, misleads his fans with grand claims like this. Think about it.

I hope they will update some standards instead of making new cars! Ruf and 100 of other I would pay for having them premium.

I don't know if I want to spend money every 2 months for more Nissan Skylines. DLC every 2 months could get pricey. Will see how it goes.

You guys got it all confused, it's "trunks". We will soon be able to pick swim suit wear for our Bob, as his carrer is growing and he'll become a magazine model! So get ready to get some very intimate photo sessions with your Bobs...just hope the last name isn't Bubba or of sorts.
Expect flip-flops and "Jersey Shore" hair to replace helmets in the updates after that!

I just hope they continue to develop the game from now on and not just release car and track packs. We need more physics updates, menu updates, features, etc. Tyre width and tyre pressure is seems non-existent as far as gt5 is concerned.

Oh and yea I care very very little about new car content but care a LOT about new tracks especially real world ones. Don't get me wrong it not a bad thing to have, but it should be in the background of everything else. We have 1000 cars but so few tracks. And this game is just begging for some good point to point touge battles

Think about it this way, most people race with only a few cars but almost everyone races on all the tracks. I have NEVER run out of cars to try in playing gt5 for a year, but I ran out of tracks on the first day.

I'm sure this applies to 99% of people.

P.S: That said I REALLY want a black/orange color scheme Veyron Super Sport.
