In an interview with IGN The KazMan announced that we will be receiving A DLC every 2 or-so months. This is great news! How many Cars/Trucks ETC do you reckon will be in each pack every 2 months and what vehicals do you think will be added. Surely enough the Adventador, Ariel Atom, Koenigsegg's, New Mustangs, along with maybe the Gumpert, Radical SR8 and newer V8 supercars perhaps?
In your opinion, do you think we will be seeing as many cars as we did in the 1st DLC every 2 months? or will the number be lowered to succeed in making a new DLC every 2 months? You tell me ! :sly:

I would like to see some new cars, the TC cars a great, but new cars like the Aventador and others would be awesome!👍 I think we could see the same amount of cars as the first DLC. Just my opinion...

Why even ask that question, we all know what they'll be:

Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline, Nissan Skyline

As for how many - pfffft - who cares, haven't we got enough already..??

Great news indeed, and this means we might get some more DLC before Christmas!

I guess they need one big 'selling point' for each package. It was Spa last time, and much of the rest was just padding. Hopefully the focus is on new cars next time.

If they go for race cars, it'd be nice to see the 2011 Peugeot 908 (considering the PlayStation sponsorship of the car, this must be fairly likely to appear at some point), and the Audi R18 as well. Of course it would be nice to see the new Honda Super GT car as well, or perhaps a new DTM car.

newer V8 supercars perhaps?

Unlikely, as the V8 Supercars are in Forza 4, and XBox have a long-standing sponsorship of V8 Supercars.

Great news! I just hope there will be a "Modern Supercar/Hypercar" pack... 👍

^ for sure! that would be my number 1.. I really want the 2011/2012 mustang model in it.. its 100000x better then the 07 P.O.S. they have in it noww
Edit: I meant in a seperate pack then the supercars obviously :)

no. There must be every variation that ever existed and that will ever be created, and that includes miatas too.

On a serious note, fans of certain cars appreciate that a lot.
In my case I wish the s2000's were 100% true to reality and more than half of them are missing, including the CR, 2008 model (last one) and a top down version (like convertibles were in gt4). It's the same situation for every car in the game.

That's a pretty good point to note. Most race cars that make it into the GT series have some sort of Playstation or GT sponsorship. This likely means that the 2011 908 you mentioned will be GT5 DLC, while the R18 (which doesn't have any PS/GT5 sponsorship whatsoever) will not.

Yes, the R18 is less likely to appear than the 908, but still, GT5 always tries to include as many endurance cars as possible.

It will be interesting to see if Toyota's 2012 Le Mans car will appear at some point next year, or maybe be saved for GT6.

Pretty much what I expected. GT5 is a development game in the same way GT3 was. It's now just about getting a mass amount of content together to release as GT4. I'm not exactly happy at paying full price for what is effectively a beta, but in saying that, its not like I haven't got my moneys worth.

Interesting that he mentioned trucks.

I guessed that they would take priority, as there is an A-Spec truck event and no Premium trucks.

(That is, if he actually said trucks, and not tracks)

You care enough to comment on it. :)

Now shut up, open up and take in all those new skylines. :sly:

We need more tracks and events period. A few new cars and possibly an event generator would be cool also.

I imagine it will probably be another set of Touring cars and one or two new track.

Wrong - I'm venting frustration and anger... :dunce:

No - definately, no chance of shutting up, so you'd better get used to it ;)

more interesting tracks. i would rather 4 tracks and 1 car than the other way around. how about some good street /city tracks that aren't blocked of but there are multiple route. AND WHERE ARE THE POINT TO POINT MOUNTAIN OR ROAD TRACKS.

Also 2012 GTr is a must and Im still waiting for the veyron supersport.

They should do packs for all regions and sell them to all regions. Some ideas for an American muscle pack: Camaro ZL1, Cadillac CTS-V, Dodge Charger SRT-8, Mustang Boss 302/Mustang GT500, Pontiac Trans AM (for the older fans).

Every two months, eh? So given PD's track record, that means we'll get DLC about three times a year!

Dream on. Basically what Kaz is saying we'll have to wait two whole months for more crappy RM and so-called "TC" cars. I only bought the whole pack for the bonuses, not the cars. And It'll get old FAST if we only get two new tracks and fifteen new cars every two months.

That's quite the assumption on your part with the DLC.

I want to keep dreaming, but I think he's not as eccentric as we may think. I mean, the first DLC was clearly a measuring stick. Hopefully PD learned two things:

1. Many people ARE still playing GT5 and are interested in DLC.

2. Race modded editions of already existing car models isn't exactly what most people hoped for. New cars ought to be added. Brand new cars. See RUF. See Koenigsegg. See Gumpert. See this. See that. :)

So this means More DLC in December!!! I figured that, because theres going to be a update in December and it will include a fix for the DLC on one account problem.

I hope this time itl actually be brand new cars instead of modded versions of cars already on the game.
I have a feeling it wont :(
Because of this
We decided the vehicles and tracks and content in this first DLC was going to be our starting point.
So if those vehicles were a starting point it could mean that the future DLC cars will be basically TCs.
But !! it could also mean it was just a starting point to see how the overall DLC would do with the consumers.

I know I'm assuming, but with PD you can't assume a lot. Spec 2.0 was supposed to be huge, yet it was basically some tweaks and a few minor features, which were nice, but they hyped it up so much that when it dropped T10 probably died laughing at what the had to fight with.

You have a point. What I'm trying to say is, it's good to dream, but we're dealing with PD. (See what I said above)
