Ok, I'm sorry for re-bumping this topic again. But, as no settings were posted, I was forced to come up with some of my own:

    05' Ford Mustang GT:

    Power: 496bhp!

    Parts to buy:
    Racing Exhaust
    Sports Chip
    Supercharger kit
    Racing Brakes
    Brake Controller
    Racing Suspension
    Fully Customisable Transmission
    Triple Clutch
    Racing Flywheel
    Carbon Propellor Shaft
    Weight Reduction Stage 3
    Stiffness (optional)
    LSD Fully Customisable
    Tyres N3 Front/N2 Rear (Important!!)

    Settings:

    Brakes - 6/12

    Suspension -
    Spring Rate: 9.5/9.0
    Ride Height: 96/96
    Damper Bounce: 2/3
    Damper Rebound: 2/3
    Camber: 2.0/0.6
    Toe: 0/0
    Stabs: 1/1

    Aids: All Off

    LSD: 10/32/15

Transmission: Depends on track (auto 9/10 usually)

    ------

Notes: Have to have good throttle control, but is actually quite a good drift car which is easy to link together turns and if you make use of the power wisely is actually quite a friendly drift-mobile. Try it out.

    Parts to buy:
    Racing Exhaust
    Racing Chip
    Port/Polish
    Engine Balancing
    Racing Brakes
1.5way LSD (works fine, could use a fully customizable if you like)
    Stage3 Turbo and Original Turbo
    Racing Intercooler
    Fully Customizable Transmission
    Triple Plate Clutch
    Racing Flywheel
    Carbon Driveshaft
    Full Weight Reduction
    Racing Suspension

    Settings:
    Spring rate: 9.5/8.5
    Ride height: 110/116
    Shock bound: 5/6
    Shock rebound: 7/8
    Camber angle: 3.0/1.5
    Toe angle: 0.0/0.0
    Stabilizers: 2/5

    Transmission:
    Final: 4.300
    Auto: 1
(set final to 5.5, then auto to 25 then back to 1, then set final to 4.3)

    TCS: 0
    ASM: 0

    Ballast:
    Amount: 45
    Front/Rear: 15

    Tires:
    Front: R5
    Rear: R3

Gets sideways very easily and stays sideways very easily. Requires decent throttle control to avoid spinning out. This is the first vehicle I ever drifted and is my personal favorite simply because of it's ease of use. On Smaller tracks (like Autumn Ring Mini) I prefer the Stage 3 Turbo, but on larger track (like Midfield) I prefer the Original Turbo (563hp/447tq).

    Tires:
    Front: N3
    Rear: N1

    Brakes balance:
    Front: 7
    Rear: 15

    Weight balance:
    Ballast: 140
    Balance: +50

    Gear ratios:
Up to you. I found 5th to be quite short and had to adjust accordingly

    Aids:
    None
    Overall:
This car was definitely NOT meant to drift...As you can tell by the settings, I had to take drastic measures to get the back end loose. It's not one of the fastest vehicles due to stock turbos, low traction, and added weight, but she definitely drifts. A decent knowledge of weight transfer will help, as the brakes and e-brake don't do much to initiate a slide. I bet more rear brake bias will help, but I haven't the time to try.

    LSD:
    Initial: 5
    Accel: 30
    Decel: 5

    Overall:
This car is overweight even with all the weight reductions...but with a little fine-tuning I can't even tell it's heavy. Surprisingly easy to drift, works with all techniques. Enjoy!

well im not very accustomed to everything in gt4 dampers etc but i made some settings for a 240 sx s14 to tell you the truth i think its just the car being a good drift car and these settings are nothing special... but id like if someone tried them out to tell me what they think or where it could be improved thanks
    here goes :

parts to buy::racing chip, stage 2 weight reduction, racing exhaust, racing brakes, racing intercooler double plate cluth racing flywheel, original suspension, carbon driveshaft, lsd 1.5, stage 3 turbo

suspension spring rate : 7.0 and 6.8 everything else is the same and on N3 tires i have a feeling no one would like this seeing how s14s are already easy to drift

Little description of handling characteristics: The Handeling is smooth. Will take a lap or two to get used to, and you will, when drifting, hit and go over the red line a little. You'll mostly use weight transfer drifts, like Feighnt, and Braking. You don't exactly need to counter steer all tha much, the front tires help you out on that one.

Description: Oversteer is way too prevalent. You have to be really experienced to control this, but settings can be adjusted to have better control. Counter-steer has to be applied after an angle has been made, or if not, snap-back will win. I'm currently (October 27) trying to fix this but have not succeeded. Tune the Brake Balance Controller and LSD your way as I said before.

It's been a long time since I've come on this boards. But a couple of days ago I started GT4 again. And I'm still in love (after all this time) with the one and only VW Golf markI.
Now I wanted to drift with the beauty a bit, so I came here and hoped there were some settings. Since I remembered this topic, I thought I might take a look here.
But sadly there are no settings for the markI. So here's my question: Any of you guys drift with it, and have some good settings?
    Thanks in advance,

    Defiant.

    Note:

The FIAT 500L '69 lacks power so extending the drift is rather hard. A nitrous boost may be optional in this case, but is not necessary for tracks such as trial Mountain or Motorland. I suggest starting the drift with feint motions on 4th gear. Downshifting can extend the drifts to a limited extent. You can find the wheels lose traction on fourth at around 100km/h with a slight turn. Pulling the e-brake may be necessary on some turns if you go below 3rd gear.

    :)

Changed this quite a bit. This setting should do quite well if you drift the car. Will silde quite well. The best method to initiate a drift for this setting shouldn't be an issue.

As you can see this set up is not yet really completed. It slides well but tends to whip the hell out of the car when correcting. it really pisses me off :grumpy: . can get almost over 90 degrees when on super speedway. its very fun to try to drift and get the hang of using this setup. if you have any corrections please help me out here. have fun. oh yeah you might also want to try n2 tires and a limites slip dif.

Try not to use this setup. i used this last fall when i was a real noob. check out my videos to see my 4wd drifting now. i will try to get my universal setup up. it works for everything for me but i will post it as a 22b setup because thats the car i experimented on to get it. Looking back this setup is absolutely hilarious. Its complete garbage and i wouldn't use it, if i have some time ill revisit this car.

You could have just edited your previous post, niall, where you simply copied the pro forma without filling in any fields...

I've removed it now though. Please do not double-post like this.
