New Ferraris Revealed in Project CARS 2 Content Leak

The fun pack looks......fun (yeah yeah I know -.-).

The Renault 5 and Ford RS200 are excellent editions.

I think what would sweeten the deal for me would be if they added an MG Metro 6r4 in the pack ;D

Also what's that weird looking Buggy Jeep thing underneath the Audi?

its a 2017 Ford Bronco "Brocky" RTR ;)

Hey that's me who found those cars and posted this pic on racedepartment!

I also found some other cars. One of them will obviously be in the fun pack! Here is the picture:

So yes, 488 Challenge and 512 BB LM confirmed. Hope they will really be in the game one day. Still waiting for the 250 GTO too...

Great work! I notice a dose of group b seasoning to that picture. I think a Peugeot 205 T16, Lancia Delta S4 and a Metro 6R4 should add a bit more flavour to it.

Now I am just getting carried away... And I love it!:D

I have to say that looking at the Picture, I just heard a Finnish Referee counting down from 5 and exhaust parp, crackles and unburnt fuel while massively hitting the loud paddle in order to kill the gravel :D

If this is legit atleast one of the 2 Tracks will be a dirt Environment. Like i said previously comparable to Mercedes Ice Track and Mojave. And perhaps Interlagos as Track 2. Fingers crossed

I'm waiting for 2016 Audi R18 and Toyota TS050 :nervous:

I wonder if we will get this 2 ferraris in Fun Pack, or we will wait until Ferrari Pack.

They seems to be ready.

Need a Subaru WRX/STI to go against those Evos. I can keep dreaming I guess.. Even Forza 7 does not have the 2011-2014 STI hatchback. However, they have the 2008 hatch and the 2011 Sedan, so they already have all 3D models that are necessary to make the last STI hatchback... So infuriating.

And a Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR to round off the classic open top 50's Le Mans racers.:)

Here's a few shots for you which I took in London in February.

Slide 1 Merc 300 SLR.jpg

Note the back of the car - that's not a boot lid (trunk lid) - its an air brake which the driver deployed when slowing from high speed. It enabled the drum braked 300 SLR to stop nearly as well as the Jaguar's which had discs.

Wouldn't it be great if this could be in the "Fun Pack" - I can't see it being in the "Le Mans Legends" because of the tragic accident involving a 300 SLR in 1955 - I wonder if enough time has passed for Mercedes-Benz to allow it to appear in a game.

would have liked the 250 GTO but I guess there is still a chance.

The problem with the 250 GTO is that we don't have any cars to compete with it so it would be in a class of one - I would love to have a 250 GTO, but only if some of its period competitors were also added to the game (e.g. Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato, Jaguar E Type Lightweight, Cobra 289 Le Mans Hard Top, Corvette C2, TVR Griffith 400) - maybe in PC3?

At the moment there is a problem with single class cars like the Merc 300 SL, Aston Martin DBR1/300 and based on what has been leaked so far (although of course it may not be accurate) SMS are creating a whole load more single class categories. There are some cars like the Ferrari Daytona which has no real competitors in the game, but has artificially been placed with a Camaro and a 240Z. The addition of these packs - Porsche, Ferrari, Le Mans Legends and Fun is an opportunity to fill out the classes, which I hope isn't lost. In the Fun Pack I would like to see a Mustang to go with the Camaro plus a De Tomaso Pantera GT4 and Corvette C3 L88 to go with the Ferrari Daytona. The Porsche pack could contain a 911 RSR 3.0 to also compete with the Daytona, a 356 to compete with the Merc 300 SL. The Ferrari pack will presumably include the 250 TR to compete with the DBR1 Aston. It would obviously be great if the Le Mans Legends could include a Jaguar D Type. It looks like SMS are including the Porsche 917K - that would need the competing Ferrari 512M and 512S.

The Can Am version of the 917 could likely be in a class of one unless the fun pack included appropriate period Can Am cars such as the McLaren M20, Lola T260 and Shadow DN2. Much to look forward to over the coming year, but I just hope as many of the classes as possible receive extra cars and we don't get too many single cars with no competition in the game.

It would be nice to get an MX5 to compete with the GT86 currently in the game and hopefully split that current road car class into vintage and modern - I did a race yesterday in a 1973 BMW 2002 against a period Escort Mark One and it was rather spoilt by having a GT86 and a modern truck in the same race!

The makes I would most like to see added are Alfa Romeo, Lola and Subaru - hopefully one or more of each in the Fun Pack.

Great list. And exactly along the lines what I was thinking, in terms of what relative competitors would the 250 GTO race against. SMS seems smart and discerning enough to realise that. I guess you can never have enough cars. And you can't please everyone. But SMS are doing a good job catering for fans of most great eras and classes. I wouldn't begrudge them if these cars didn't make it in PCARS 2.

Without turning this into a wish list: Matra-Simca, Chaparral and Mirage Lightweight racing (in gulf livery, license permitting), are other manufacturers race cars that would definitely have a place in the game with currently included content.

Speaking of De Tomaso. Which you also mentioned. Always dreamed of a 70's Italian, mid-engined, Supercar battle: Lamborghini Miura vs Ferrari 365/512BB vs Maserati Bora vs De Tomaso Pantera.

SMS have created a well thought out current car list and dlc which just stirs something inside me and makes me rattle off some great historic names like no other title. I don't think there is any title with some many cars I want to drive. After the buggy nature of PCars 1 on PS4, I thought I would wait a bit before buying 2. But with patch 2.0 and such a solid car and track list, I definitely cannot resist anymore.

Can you read my mind in any sort of way? We‘ve got the same taste in cars, gentlemen.

I too have a distant hope for cars like matras le mans winners or derek bells mirage from 75‘ or any kind of left field sports racing cars because the game alteady has a few oddballs and dies not seem to be shy to integrate such cars, which I appreciate because mist games in the past just included the obvious choices.

Class re-stocking is obe of my top priorities as well. I share your views on the 250 gto and the need gor more vintage touring cars. Either a racing carrera 930 or a 934 are needed to give group 4 or vintage touring a a seriously needed porsche signature. Remember all, this was when porsche really made its mark. Late 60s early 70s. Not only in prototype racing but gt racing as well.

To go back to ferrari: the cars i hope for the most are the 512, no matter if in m or s guise, and/or the 312p. Its the most beautiful racecar ever made, it wasnt that successfull but thats not what pc2 is all about. Orherwise we would have 3 cars in the game. I really hope that the demand for prototypes of that era rings a bell (pun intended) at sms. Or lets say i hope that a demand like this exists.

If I was in charge of the Le Mans Legends Pack I would put this car in (Mirage GR8 1st and 3rd Le Mans 1975)- good competition for the Porsche 936 and Alpine A442B currently in the game, plus being naturally aspirated it might be easier to drive albeit slightly slower (photo taken at the London Classic Car Show).

Group 4 and 6 are in desperate need for more cars. With the classic le mans track there could be dream races from the 70s

Example: The Car behind the Mirage is a Ligier JS2....since there are vehicles of this company, it could be licensed. 930 in the back, Roaring down the ford chicane..perfect round up.

The hatch and sedan Sti’s of those years are in the game. They just have to be unlocked via crates, Forzathon, specialty dealership, or other events. I hate that you have to get certain cars that way in this game. I’d rather be able to buy any car I want if I can afford it instead of unlocking the tier then buying the car.

_-Cars - _
- Ferrari 512 BB LM
- Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta
- Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa

Those are the three that I'm excited about! Can't wait to race the 250 TR against the Aston DBR1/300 - in fact I've had the series planned ever since the first leak months ago!

I'm interested to know what class the 250 GT will be in - a new class or GTC with the 250 TR and Aston? If it is in GTC, a lovely later addition would be a C1 Corvette - the 283 cubic inch, 290 horse, fuel injected version won its class at Le Mans in 1960 and raced against the 250 GT in 1960 and 1962. Even better if they could add an Aston DB4GT - another great period competitor and one which was recently remanufactured by Aston on a very limited basis - so they have all the dimensions and data required.

1960 Corvette C1 Slide 1.jpg

Above 1960 Le Mans - Corvettes battle Ferraris, Astons and Jags. 250 TR's came 1st and 2nd. Aston DBR1's came 3rd and 9th. Ferrari 250 GT's 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th. Corvettes 8th and 10th. I am so looking forward to getting as close as possible to reproducing this thanks to SMS!

Yay more Ferraris!!!

As a Ferrari fan not enough Ferraris we need more!!

I wish we also get a part 2 where we get these Ferraris like

-288 GTO Evoluzione
-599xx Evoluzione
-FXX Evoluzione
-F50
-F2007
-F2004
-F2000
-641
-412 T2

It is always a good day to get more Ferraris. Heck get all the Ferraris from Test Drive Ferrari and put them in a expansion pack I would gladly pay for especially the F1 cars!!
