NEW GAME: GT4 Online Edition Out in Q2 2006

Well it's the thing that 500,- is also very very expensive for me. I have just turned 16, no way that my parents are gonna pay me a PS3. If I would save some money till I can afford the PS3 I would probably continue saving money so I can gather a few things for a cheap second hand car.

I'll be 18 in 2 years so I got other priorities then;) You can take driving lessons when your 18 here:dopey:

scuse me fonsi, but i just turned 18 a couple of days ago, (got my lisence just after 3 days:sly: ) and i still love playing ps2

and, i am gonna get the ps3. even though i am gonna be 19....

But I'm a drift freak, I'm probably gonna try and mod my car a bit and just spin around a bit at some parking lot...;)

I am seriously concidering it at least. And I think after I have bought a PS3, I might wish I would have my money back and save it for a good mod on my car:dopey:

Probably gonna buy an old porsche, 924 or something;)
 
No, it won't be cheaper than the 360, thats about the only thing certain about the PS3's price, it WILL cost more than the 360. Sony would lose too much if they sold the PS3 for £200.
 
Heh, don't be so sure. They're going to have to, Cnet has some news on the PS3 being delayed til 2007 and how Sony will probably have to decide to sell it cheaper and lose money, either that or sell them at huge prices to make up for it then bring the price down a few months later. Over-all they plan packages, unlike the 360.
 
The money isn't in the consol iteslf, and it never has, or will be,

it's all about the games and acessories, so they are better off selling for a loss to lot of people who will then give a lot of people to buy the moneymakers, the remotes, memory cards, all the new games and such, thats where the big bucks are.

You have to wait. :) SONY has not publically announced an on-line GT4 version yet.

i think the online version will be the new gran turismo coming out on the Ps3 when it is launched, so that means that the new GT is this online version probably, and it may be conected by GT Mobile as well! Now that would be a perfect Gran Turismo game series! :dopey:

I'm sure enough to bet a PS3 on it, the PS3 may well be delayed, let's face it a launch in the next 4 months doesn't seem as likely as Sony are making out. But cost wise, it will still be over £200, the XB360 has packages, the PS3 won't, it'll be the PS3, the HDD won't be available at launch so theres no option for a HDD premium package like there was with the XB360. Other than having shops offering console + games + extra pads ect bundels theres really no viable option for a package from Somy other than the PS3 until the HDD comes out.

you gonna get a porshe 924....jesus... at least get something with a lil bit of style dude:)

the only thing you would need to buy for the porshe would be a set of new tyres after driftn around in the parking lot..hehe

Sony's stock has been taking a bit of a hit on the Tokyo Stock Exchange here when they announced the findings that it would cost over $900.00 to manufacture each machine. If they sell it for $500.00 or so that is still a mighty big hit and the stockholders won't like it one bit.
 
SNE is only off about 10% from its recent high (which is no big deal) and considering what the rest of the market is doing, it's still no big deal.

I'm guessing it's the same as GT4 only with online mode, if it is I won't be getting it. It'll be a bit too late anyway probably, I'd have bought a PS2 network adapter if it had come out last year but the end of this year, I don't so, I'll be wanting the PS3 by then.

Same here.

I already have plans to buy a Live! year subscription, and GT4 alone is satisfying enough.
 
i hope there is noble in the new GT4, i was just racing in the british GT on TDR3 in a, Noble! and they look so cool!! I hope there is the M12, M12 M400 and the new M14!!:D

You have 16, now.

I don't say that this is YOUR case, but guys at your age thinks that they will be cool as Vin Diesel, grab lots of chicks-that-fully-understands-automechanics and paint their cars like bubblegum package.

But you are a smart guy and will realize that your so suffered economies will not be used to destroy gearboxes or to hit concrete parking markers with your rear axis. Also will discover that police officers LOVE to humiliate brand new drivers with a harsh fine.

Remember the first thing you read when starting GT4 👍

Hardware manufactures ALWAYS loose money on the hardware. But make it up on software and licensing. The trick is to keep the gap as small as possible.

The phrase 'Too little, too late' springs to mind ;)

GT4 should have had online in the first place inclusive of the price. It would have to be damn amazing to get me to pay for an online addition plus adaptor unless it came with a bucket load of extras and a personal apology from KY written in his own blood*

We'll probably hear something about it in E3. Just 41 days left...
 
Whoa i just relaized that Gt4 online will be GT-40, and hey on teh cover of GT4, there is a ford GT based off the Gt-40 ehh ehhh lol, ok back to relevant content

In that case, I think I will take the 10,000 and run and keep buying more games so I will keep earning 10,000 for each game I buy.
