Can you explain more about the difference between premium and standard cars in the new GT5?

Standard models won't have an interior view, less detailing and no crash model. The problem is that premium models take a lot of time to create and we wanted to include many more vehicles than before. To make premium versions of all the cars we want to put in would take ten years or more and I don't think people are prepared to wait long!

for five years developement. im actually becoming more and more dissinterested the more snippets of info im hearing and finding. instead of all this ****...id rather they just announce officially what were going to get.

LOOOOL lame, no interior view for every car. HUGE disappointment!
 
They say a different thing every time... maybe the game doesn't even exist and they make up ******** when asked about it lol
 
Meh. I use the hood/roof view anyways, so doesn't bother me none. Just give me the damn game.
 
Confusing as it may be, the LP 560-4 had an interior view at CES, so I think that stands for something.

... its not important for me ,150 cars with interiour are enough for me

And all the cars in Prologue. And pretty much all the cars in the demos we have seen. I think something is off and they and/or we are not understanding completely what he is saying.

It doesn't make any sense. Cause as KAZ says: "Standard models won't have an interior view". But in GT5P have both the Volkswagen Golf GTI and the Lancia Delta an interior view.. And isn't that Standard Models?? I think so..??

I'm very confused?
 
I'm sorry but this is total bull ****. If this is true, or if PD drop the ball on a single other aspect i'm jumping ship I swear to god. No interior view for all cars!!? Are you kidding me! Why the hell else would this game be taking so long!

Honestly, I am sorry for the language but this is very nearly the final straw for me. Sony or PD or whoever need to clarify what and when EXACTLY! we can expect from this product. The confusion they've instigated is inexcusable.

CES 2010. Few months ago.

Perhaps they'll offer interior veiws as dlc when they get around to it.

I just thought about it. That CAN'T be true. At all. GT5P has 70 cars total... 1 without a cockpit, meaning 69 vehicles with interior views. That would mean, even though they more than quadrupled their staff (they started with 50, now have about 250 members), they only created 100 more cars with interiors. That CAN'T be right! There is no way unless they have been sitting on their hands, and I highly doubt that.
 
Once again:
All cars will have damage.
Premium cars will have interior damage and are more "destroyable" than standards.
Standard cars will have no interior damage, but will have minor visual damage.

For your information, PD doesn't have 250 employees. They're about ~110.

As usual, this is the new "20 tracks' mistranslation issue I'm sure. And now the whole debate will start all over again ;o

And this interview looks anything but recent.

My guess would be that at every gaming convention where their were GT5 demos the cars all had cockpit views.

In the years since GT5's introduction, there has been no indication of a set of non-cockpit view car models, no not one.

Well that Proto R35, but special circumstances surround that.

That. I am 99.9% sure that those cars are the "standard" models. And at each convention they have a cockpit view. That is only good news.

Too much panic on the boards for me, though.

I could have sworn I read somewhere that there were over 200 people working on it. In a video maybe? Maybe they are temp workers? I see the "approx. 110" employees on their site.

I think the 200+ members was mentioned in the "Beyond the Apex" video... I'll check again...
 
There isn't a single bit of sence in this so I'm sure it's just old or a misunderstanding, as it almost always is.
