I kind of like it too. Not that i would say exactly that, but the way info regarding GT5 has been, i sometimes feel like saying something along those lines.

If this is true, this would be a huge dissapointment. PD has been very secret about the game this is not the kind of suprise people need after all these years. I would not have touched on visual damage if you can not even see inside of the car.

Even though every car in Prologue is modeled, it doesn't mean that GT5 will enjoy the same. It's much easier for PD to just leave the Prologue cars as is and work on the "Premium" ones, then make interior's for every car in GT5.

Pretty pathetic that the English speaking fans (who I'd dare say would be the majority, or maybe a close second) have to argue and debate over what's being said about what is meant to be the Playstation 3s' biggest game. I can guarantee that there was no confusion regarding Halo 3 in Japan........ Come on Sony/Polyphony, pull your finger out. If you want us to wait 5 years there has to be a little give and take.

What else do GT fans have to do............... Wait for clear and decisive news you must be joking.
The point is we should not have to discuss translations. Gran Turismo isn't some boutique Japanese game that very few "Westerners" will buy. It is a massive, INTERNATIONAL game and should be treated accordingly.

What makes you and others think that Prologue has anything to do with GT5 other than sharing the same franchise name? They maybe realised that as they were working on the cars, it was taking too long to do every single one in such detail, so they made a decision to only do detailed models of "premium" cars, whatever they are.

As I've said though, makes no odds to me - all of the cars are going to be more detailed than GT4, I'm not interested in half-baked damage, and I do not use interior view/dashboard view or whatever it is you guys are convincing yourselves it is in the hope that they are all modeled!

i totally agree that theres no point getting worked up. but it came from kaz himself. translated directly into english not to german/french and then back to english. i find it odd that he would say this... especially if its confirmed in a recent mag interview. its pretty perplexing that they would want to create such confusion....

but in some ways its just fanning the flames and keeping everyone talking about gt5... one way or another.

yup, to a certain degree, for example, all the Nissan R32's R33's, R34's, Subaru's, Honda's Mitsubishi's all of which will have possible minor ajustments to the interior to of course match their real life counterpart. This news is just balls so I wouldnt look too far into it, But yeah I agree with the comment about having the news actually being reported from a person who could speak English 100% because these translations are getting very tiresome..

I think its because you cant modify your seat position in gt5. Don't get me wrong, cockpits are great and all (i hope they will be in for all the cars), but its not the end of the world.

Nothing comes close to the end of the world, keeping it into the context of a computer game I do think if interior view isn't available for all cars the game will be far less than I hoped and expected it to be.
I use interior view only and it would make a big difference to me whether it is apllied to all cars or just a few.
Can't believe they would release a game called GT5 Prologue which had all car interiors except one modelled, and then when I am used to those interiors and can't think of going back to any other view, they decide they can only offer the same option in the full game for a limited number of cars.
That's like offering a five star starter menu followed by a leftover tv-dinner cooked in a microwave as the main menu.
For now I can only hope it is mistranslated, but I can't fully expect the thing I was looking forward the most and assumed a more or less confirmed fact to be a given anymore.

well for me it totally different. I use only cokpit view because that is the second reason that i can say that i am driving other cars, cause from bumper cam, it's all the same, each car is the same, so basically I can have one car and option to change drivetrain, power, weight etc.

It's understandable this interview has caused some confusion and concern but I think the fact it was taken off the website says it all. It conflicts with a lot of previous interviews and articles which makes it even more likely that it is incorrect due to a misunderstanding.

How many other interviews by KY have been pulled in the past that were correct???

Yep, the fixed camera is what stops me from using cock-cam. Head tracking would help to some degree, but if the camera is always fixed, I'll always use hood or bumper cam.

Only in terms of visuals, so clearly that's the most important thing for you. For me, the most important thing is how the car handles and being able to hear the engine note. I just use the camera that gives me the best view of the track ahead, which for me is the hood or bumper cam. If I pick an Audi R8 from the menu, I don't need a cock-view to know which car I'm driving.

As has already been suggested by others KY may have been referring to the interior workings of the car (e.g. under the bonnet, suspension parts, etc) or the full interior of the cockpit (e.g. foot well, rear seats, head lining, etc) to be seen from any angle as opposed to just the restricted view from the drivers point of view.

Interior refers to engine, parts under bonnet etc.etc.. cockpit view will be on every car(not only on concept a think).. in prologue we have lancia delta 91' and suzuki capuccino with cockpit view.. don't tell me that are premium models!?

If not... they will be killed by fans, 6 years for 170 cars + 830 from gt4 in hd without damage, without inside view, with less details. Can't be like this.
